The next day Evangeline was at Allianz Arena for Bayern's first Bundesliga match of the season. Joshua practically begged his best friend to come, although honestly, Eva didn't need much convincing—she just liked to see Joshua on his knees.

And of course, the Bayern boy also gave her a 2017/2018 Bayern kit with his name on the back. "You can add it to your Kimmich shrine," He had told her earlier that day, to which she punched him in the arm harshly.

Joshua's comment was somewhat true though—in Eva's childhood bedroom back in Bösingen, her walls were covered with Joshua's football kits. The two of them may have stopped being friends for a while, but her love for the footballer never wavered.

"Hi," A woman tapped Evangeline on the shoulder. She had dark hair and was wearing a kit with the name 'Müller' on the back. "I'm Lisa."

"Oh, hello!" Eva waved at the woman. "I'm Eva, a friend of Joshua's."

"It's nice to finally meet you, Eva," Lisa grinned at the girl, blowing a kiss to Thomas who was warming up with his Bayern teammates. "I've heard so much about you!"

"You have?" The blonde questioned, not sure how the equestrian would've heard of her.

"Of course! Joshua comes over all the time, and he rambles on about you endlessly—much to the dismay of his girlfriend," She smiled wickedly before continuing, "Or should I say ex-girlfriend."

Evangeline blushed, embarrassed by Lisa's comments. Soon enough however, the match began, and Eva was pleased to see that both Joshua and Corentin were starting—the latter thought he would be spending the match on the bench.

As soon as the whistle was blown, Bayern was on the offensive, constantly searching for the back of the net. And they found it in the ninth minute, with Niklas Süle scoring his first goal with Bayern.

"Yes!" The two women cheered, watching Joshua scream in the goalscorer's face.

"God, I love that Joshua," Lisa glanced over to Eva, who's eyes were fixated on the Bayern right-back.

"Me too, Lisa, me too."

"Oh my god, look at Corentin's run!" Eva screamed, pointing at the Frenchman who was in a full out sprint down the pitch. And with a flick of his foot, Corentin had scored his first Bundesliga goal on his Bayern debut.

"Yes, Coco!" Lisa hollered, wrapping her arms around the blonde.

The happiness was soon replaced with a sheer sense of shock as the women watched the French international's goal celebration. There, on the pitch was Corentin standing in front of Evangeline's section, patting his chest before making the letter 'E' with his fingers, holding it up for all to see. And standing on the other side of the pitch was a perturbed Joshua who witnessed the entire thing with his hands unhappily on his hips.

"Jo does not look happy," Eva covered her face with her hands.

"No he doesn't, but who cares?" Lisa shrieked, shaking Evangeline. "Did you not just see what Corentin did? I mean, besides the fact that he's a little young for me, Coco's hot!"

"Lisa, you're married!"

"Yeah, I am," She flashed her ring at Eva before sending a wink her way, "But that doesn't mean I can't admire the merchandise."

"I can't fucking believe him!" Joshua tore his kit off, slamming it against the bench in the changing room.

"Little one, settle down," Thomas spoke calmly.

"How do you expect me to do that, Tom? Are you blind? Did you not see his goal celebration? He dedicated it to Evie, my Evie."

"First of all," The Bayern midfielder held up a finger, "She's not your Evie. She's not your property, she's her own person. And second, she's helping Coco out with his German and such, so if anything, he was probably just showing Eva how grateful he is."

Joshua however, wasn't buying it, scoffing, "C'mon Tom, you can't be that dense. Corentin's clearly into her."

Thomas sat on a chair opposite of Joshua, beginning to take off his socks, "And why would that be a problem, Jo? Eva's an adult, and she can decide who she would like to date. Plus, we know that Coco is a good guy, so you should be pleased if they do decide to give it a shot."

"I know I should be happy," Joshua placed his face in his hands, "But I just got her back and I don't want to lose her to someone new."

"Josh," Thomas stood up, pulling out a picture the right back had hung in his locker from his first day with Bayern, "You're Eva's BGF—no one can replace you."

"But how do you know—"

"That you call her your bgf?" Thomas raised his eyebrows at the young man, "You told Manu and I the story of yours and Eva's friendship when you were drunk a few months back. It's quite cute," He stood up, watching Joshua examine the photograph in his hands.

It was one that was taken the day after Eva had gotten that pretty purple cast of hers when they were twelve years old. Joshua was grinning widely because his best girl friend had just allowed him to sign her cast, which was one thing he could cross off his bucket list. And Eva? Well she was smiling because her crush had his arm around her, and she couldn't help but feel a sense of happiness being in his embrace.

"And you have nothing to worry about with Tolisso—Eva only has eyes for you, anyways," Thomas added cheekily, patting Joshua on the back.

"You're full of shit, Tom!" Joshua laughed, flipping Thomas off before walking towards the showers.

"You'll see it soon enough, little one," Thomas mumbled under his breath before shutting his locker. "And soon enough you'll open your eyes and realize you love her too."
