I opened my eyes and saw something. A child, quickly another human took her away. I looked around at my surroundings. Androids. There all on display. What does this mean? Are we being sold? "There it is,"an employ said walking with a man towards me. "it was a bit difficult getting it back into working order. It was really messed up... what did you say happened to it again?" the employ questioned the man.

" A car hit it, stupid accident," the man said trying not to make eye contact with the employ. "oh I see, anyway it as good as new now... except that we had to reset it, meaning that we had to wipe it memory," the employee said to the man. The man nodded as he was looked straight at me. "did you give it a name?" the employ said trying to grab the man attention. " my daughter did" the man said still staring at me. "AX400 register your name" the employ commanded me. "Kara"

Approximately One Hour Later...

I looked out the car window and all that I saw was old, broken down houses, suddenly the car stopped"We're here, you coming?" Todd said underneath his breath while he got out the car. "Yes Todd" I said to myself as I opened the car door and followed. He opens the door to the old home, I followed after him closing the door behind me. "Now the house is pretty run down, you do the housework , the washing, you cook the meals, " Todd said looking around the room . "and you take care of, WHERE THE HECK IS SHE?!" he commanded me."Alice! Alice! Oh there you are" he said looking at the little girl sitting on the bottom step." This is Alice, you'll look after her, homework, bath, all that crap, got it " he said looking at Alice then me."Yes Todd" I said as he walked over to the couch and turned on the TV.

I started cleaning up the kitchen first, cleaning it to the top to bottom. " KARA!" Todd snapped as I finished cleaning the kitchen. "Yes, Todd," I said looking directly at him. "Bring me a cold beer" he commanded . "right away Todd" I answered as I grab a beer from the fridge and gave it to him. I went to the corner of the living room and turned on the vacuum cleaner, after a minute Alice started to play with the vacuum cleaner.

"ALICE, STOP THAT!"Todd yelled at the little girl as she ran upstairs. "She's always pushing me, why is she always pushing me," Todd said to himself as I went to the garden and took all the washing off the line and put it all in the washing basket. Once I have done that I went inside and put the dirty clothes in the washing machine. I grabbed the washing powder but however, there was something strange.

ANALYSING

RED ICE

I stumbled back for a moment as I felt a hand grabbing me, I quickly turned around to face the man. "You shouldn't mess around with my stuff, it makes me nervous" Todd snapped at me with his hand wrap around my neck. "I'm sorry Todd" I mutter trying to get the words out." You stay the fuck out of my business unless you wanna piss me off. You wanna piss me off?" Todd asked me his hand gripping tighter on my neck.

"No Todd" I answered as Todd let go of my neck, took the red ice and left the room. As Todd left the room I saw Alice looking at me like she knows what I'm thinking. I turned around and got back to my duties.

As I've finished the washing I went back to Todd " I've made a good start down here, I will tidy upstairs" I said to Todd. " Do what you have to do, just stop bothering me!" Todd said underneath his breath. I went to Todd room, I cleaned every spot of Todd room and opened his window. Before I left the room, I saw a tube of pills on Todd desk. I went over to his desk and put the pill in his drew but I found a gun in his draw.

My LED flashed red for a moment .I was scared for a moment . I quickly shut the draw as my LED went back to blue and I went out of Todd room . Todd came out form the restroom and pushed me to the side."Watch it!" Todd shouted at me as I went to clean the restroom and the bathroom.

I finished cleaning up the bathroom. I went to Alice's room, as I opened the door the little girl ran to her corner, sitting in her hut. "I'm going tidy your room a little, is that okay Alice," I said softly to the young child. After I finished cleaning up Alice's room, I walked over to the young girl and kneeled down. " We must have been friends before I was reset, maybe we can be friends again" I said to the little one, the young child nodded a bit as she kept looking down.

"Your father said you gave me my name, Kara.It's nice, how did you chose it?" I said softly to Alice. "Tell me about yourself, what you like to do, your favorite foods," I asked softly. She got up and ran up to the door. I turned around to face and before she left she handed me a key and ran off. I looked at the key for a split second then to the box. I stood up and walked over to the box. I carefully put the key in the keyhole and opened the box. A music box was playing when I opened the box, inside the box, there was a four leaf clover.

I picked up the clover and analyzed it carefully, I smiled and picked up the next object, a photo of the William family. I continued to smile until I picked up a kid drawing, my LED flashed red as I continued to look at the drawings. I carefully put all the items back in the box, locked it and put the key in the drawer.

I exited the room and went downstairs. Before I got to the bottom step, I saw Todd approaching Alice. "What are you doing" Todd said angrily to the child. "playing" Alice said quietly. "Playing huh, I know what your thinking" Todd snapped at the little girl.

"Think your dad a low life, you hate me don't you," he said grabbing the girl and lifting her up. "Say it! you hate me! you hate me!" Todd shouted violently shaking Alice. My LED flashed bright red sensing Alice's pain. Tears rolled down Alice's face as Todd put her down and a single tear fell from his eye. "God, what am I doing? I'm sorry honey I'm sorry. You know I love you" Todd cried on Alice. My LED went back to blue as Alice looked over at me and  I just stood there helpless doing nothing but I knew what I had to do next.

That wouldn't be the last time he would hurt her...
