When we arrived to the food court I was really tired. I just wanted to eat and go to sleep, but I had to unpack everything in the first place.
I was impressed; the place was humongous. There were tables everywhere, and the chairs were all styled in different shapes and colors. The walls were painted bright yellow and the floors consisted on a sort of ceramic tiles, black and white ones. I could see many stations: the Chinese, Mexican, pizza and McDonald's on the right; and Italian, burgers, self-service and some ice cream shop on the left.
The people were divided though. The tables were set, in a way, like in high school; the popular kids sitting on one side and the nerds on the other. But instead, in here the workers from the movie being shot outside were acting as the popular side and the students as the nerdy half. Watching this was pretty fun. It made me remember my school years. I laughed at my thoughts; they were completely out of place.
I needed to find something to eat, and quickly. The lack of food was affecting my brain already!
I told Natalie I was going to the Italian station and went straight to it. The smell of pasta lured me in.
"Hi. How can I help you?" asked the girl serving the food.
"Hello. May I have some pasta with meatballs, please?"
"Of course! Would you like a drink?"
"No thanks, I'll grab one by the machines," I answered.
"Very well. In that case, your total will be... 7 pounds."
"Ok. Thanks," I said, while giving her the money and grabbing my plate full of pasta.
I spotted Natalie sitting in a table next to the 'division'. Great, now we'll be near the famous people! I walked straight to leave my plate upon the table and left quickly to fill a glass with soda. While walking to the machines I saw a woman that looked as if she was about to cry while talking on the phone. It seemed like she was trying to calm down the person on the other side of the line. I could faintly hear the person's voice through the device. It was a male voice, and it seemed that he was yelling, due to the intensity of the murmurs.
"Sorry Mr. Cross, but she left. Ashley is not coming back, and I can't get you another intern for tomorrow; it's impossible. I will have to make interviews for the candidates..." said the woman.
So they were looking for candidates for an internship. Hmmm. Maybe I should look out around campus these days to see if anyone knows anything about this lady. Perhaps I could apply.
I filled my glass with diet coke and went back to our spot. I sat next to Natalie while she was taking an enormous bite off of a really greasy burger. It looked appetizing, but my pasta was more appealing -to me, anyway.
I saw the same woman from before as she hung up her phone and started to leave the court, emitting a frustrated sigh at the same time. And suddenly, I realized: this was my opportunity. I stood up from my seat and lurched towards where the lady was headed. I caught up with her in a flash and tapped her shoulder. I hadn't noticed before, but she was wearing a sharp grey blazer with a matching skirt and a burgundy blouse. So this lady was a white-collar worker, huh? Maybe the internship was about something similar. Would I have to dress like that? Okay, maybe I'm over thinking this.

Not My Prince Charming
RomanceLet's set things straight. Dan Cross. Definitely not my prince charming. I mean, he's the guy I argue the most with; he's my boss, and the famous movie director. Of course we wouldn't match at all. But, what if he's the guy I'm falling for? In any...
