And here is my first superlong poem since The Ravyn or whatever I named it called Red Days. I wanted this to kinda be a tribute to troops a bit, but I don't know. I tried using colors to incorporate feelings. Read on!
TRAIN TRACKS!!!
===============================================================================
Everyone sees a red day
Red sunset, red dawn, red grass
As the blood runs jubilantly through the bay,
People don’t stare but carelessly pass.
We only saw the green days
And all the colors between
While for once the entire world seemed to gleam
A sharp maze of lies trapped us in gray.
A white day I’ve never seen
Though we listen for them well
The sounds of the shrapnel will never be clean
Until they all get a taste of Hell.
Gray clouds are for digging graves
Which are so close to white days
And the enemy will walk the black road paved
While the rest of us watch the red days.
