GaH! I'M SO SORRY! I totally didn't put any poems up lately!!! In my defense, I've been doing a lot of my homework in study hall. This one's a longer poem of mine and it will be followed by older, other poems still written in study hall. Well, I guess that scraps my idea of updating every day. Oh well. I got inspiration for this after watching the Rolling Girl PV that is AMAZING! The song is sung by Miku Hatsune, but the PV is by somebody I don't know. You should totally check it out: just type in rolling girl and the first one that comes up shoulde have something like Rolling Girl PV Miku Hatsune. And, yes, it's in Japanese. Oh well, it's amazing anyway. They have english versions! Don't be lazy like me! (shakes finger) I was humming this poem along to the melody of the song, so...if you want to try, be my guest. Read on!

That girl smiling feels oh so alone

It's all her fault

That she'll never be owned.

She punishes her own mortality,

And uses death as her excuse to flee.

And she pushes,

Pushes further,

Against the world and those who have cause her pain,

And she says

"I think that I'll die today."

An empty throne, so cold and full of tears.

That lonely girl

Ran away from all her fears.

Her kingdom sits upon a mighty wave.

Her people shout, "How will we be saved?

Who will save us?

Will she save us?

Does she still care for the kingdom who cast her away?"

And they wonder

"Will we maybe die today?"

That lonely girl died a painless death.

She saved her people

With her final breath.

Now she searches with anxiety

For the boy

She hoped that she would see.

So she searches

And doesn't find him,

Preparing to give herself up to cruel fate

And she cries

"Why did I have to die today?"

Alright, let's be clear. The name of this poem is, in French, The Ballad of the Lonely Girl. The girl is a princess that was abused and she blamed herself because her parents were mean and abused her and everyone was ignoring her and treating her like crap. In the end, I was planning to write another stanza, but I liked it better when it left off here. She does find the boy she's looking for, BTW, and they're both in Heaven. That's my mini-explination! So, comment and vote? Please? With all that good stuff and more on top?
