Part 2~ The move

No POV

Ellie sat at her window as the rain hammered at the glass. She didn't think that she could have any tears left but she proved herself wrong when Lisa came home. There was a lot of screaming and alot of pain but eventually Lisa and left and Ellie collapsed, crying as she no longer had the strength to support herself.

As she sat there, no longer crying, just numb, she began to rethink her choices recently until she comes to the conclusion that she is going change completely. It's all going to start with her moving.

After hours of searching, she finally found somewhere which she could move into straight away. Time for a fresh start, in a fresh house, in a fresh town. (A/n~ I know this isn't how moving works but let's just pretend for the sake of the story 🤷‍♀️). All she had to do now was pack up her stuff and she could move in tomorrow.

Maia's POV

I am getting a new neighbour today. It might be good. A chance to start again. Of course, all i will do us mess it up, I know I will. I don't know if I should pursue a friendship of some kind but my life can't get any word so guess so why the hell not?

Ellie packed up her stuff and moved out the following day. She set of quite early, considering she was moving 2 hours away and she wanted to be all unpacked by the evening so that she could go to bed in her new house.

She arrived at the house around 10am and she began unpacking immediately. By 3pm, everything was unpacked and settled so Ellie went to the supermarket to get the food for the next couple of weeks. As she was getting ready to leave, she bumped into her new neighbour.

"Hey, I'm Ellie, I just moved in next to you."

"Oh, hey, I'm Maia. Where you off to?"

"I'm going to try and find a supermarket to get actually get some food." Ellie chuckled slightly as did Maia.

"I need to go to the shop anyway so I can show you the best one near here if you'd like."

"Ok, that would be great thanks." So they set off together to the nearest Aldi (🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️).

They spent almost an hour in the shop  and after the drive there, it was now about 5pm. "Do you want to pop out for a meal if we are both out anyway? I mean you don't have to, I just thought it's getting late and honestly I don't want to cook." Ellie proposed this but became very nervous quick. However Maia agreed to go so they went in to the nearest Bella Italia.

Ellie POV

Oh my god, my neighbour is hot, I've always had a thing for brown hair and Blue eyes like ahhh.

Maia's POV

Wow, Ellie is quite hot even if I do say so myself but I don't even know her story. Plus she isn't going to even look twice at a broken mess like me.

We walked into the restaurant and there was only one table left so we slipped into the booth and ordered our drinks. "So, what brings you here, to this quaint little town?"

"I had to get away from my house, basically my boyfriend of 6 years left me for my own cousin so you know fresh start and all that." She shrugged like it didn't matter to her but I could clearly see it did.

"Wow, that's awful. I'm so sorry."

"It's ok. I'm used rejection being Pansexual and everything, I've had a lot of people turn me down after finding out so I had to learn to just brush it off." I felt sorry for her because I understood what she was saying. I was quite touched that she felt that she could tell me that after only knowing each other for like 2 hours. Although she worried at what my reaction would be.

"I Understand what you are saying, I'm bi so I get that although, I don't really get close enough to many people to get rejected in the first place so..." I shrug. It's true, I cut everyone off apart from Adam and Char (my only mate). And now I have no one. Not that I deserve anyone anyway.

"Oh, relationships are overrated anyway, they nice at first then they just break you." Throughout the rest of the meal, we talk and laugh and have light conversation. We found out a lot about each other that night. Maybe getting close to Ellie wouldn't be a bad thing after all.

A/n~ still can't decide if this is actually any good but I'm quite enjoying writing it so 🤷‍♀️. Don't forget to vote, comment and follow~ C xxx
