The sun caressed his exposed skin as Changkyun's feet hit the dirt ground, and he glanced behind him as he heard the sound of Kihyun's gentle footsteps chasing after him. With the flick of his wrist, Changkyun cast disguise-self and pulled up the illusion around him of a small elderly women carrying a woven basket of fresh bread and cheeses. She wore a tattered light brown dress that reached just above her black leather buckled shoes along with an onyx colored cloak that laid against her shoulders. Changkyun slowed his pace as his spell finally settled and he gently pulled up the hood, the hair that peaked out of his hood now a salt and pepper colored. The sound of the morning rush around him began to slowly become a low hum in his ears as his mind drifted to the image of the sweet creature with pink hair.

"Will I see him again? Was it the works of some unknown force that brought us together, intertwining our strings of fate having us meet? I've only known him for less than a few hours yet I feel this pull towards him like I belong next to his side."

Changkyun was ripped out of the blissful daydream of the pure soul he met last night as he felt a large clawed hand grapple his upper bicep and yanked him into a dark alley off the main street. The glamour dropped as his concentration was broken and his back slammed against the moldy brick wall.

"Fuck! Who are you?"

"Boss wants to see you,"

Changkyun clutched his arm as the stranger released his tight grip. Looking up, his eyes landed on an enormous green-skinned orc. The creature's face was scarred with a long gash starting from the skin above his right eyebrow down across his nose and ending at the edge of his jawline. With every exhale from his nostrils a golden septum jewelry that rung with a subtle "ddaeng" against the two large yellow tinted tusk stuck out in between his chapped lips. His large muscular arm lifted as he pointed to the familiar gated doorway that led to the filth infested sewers. With a deep sigh, Changkyun begrudgingly stepped down into the entryway, the smell of waste, mold, and stale water filling his lungs and reminding him of the night which tied his soul to the man he was going to meet.

Changkyun's father developed a gambling addiction when he lost his job down in the mines. He tried hard to hid it from him, pretending to go to work late at night when in reality he was going to the underground poker games that were held in the east quarters of town. His father's debt increased with every losing match. One night a man appeared at their door, the same man he was heading to at that very moment. Along with him were two large orcs on either side as they barged into his house demanding the money his father owed him. The two henchmen grabbed his father by both arms and kneeled him in front of the "boss" stating that without the money only his life would suffice as payment. Changkyun could remember the words spilling out between his lips, unknowing to the repercussions that would take place for years on end, giving up his soul to work off the debt his father had acquired.

"This way."

Changkyun was shoved out of the memory as they walked up a hidden exit of the sewers that led directly into the evil creatures house. A low chuckle echoed through the worn down house as he walked into a familiar office,

"Ah, Changkyun, I'm so glad that I found you after hearing last night's events. You lost something of mine, without payment as well, now what should we do with you as punishment?"
