I waited for the boys so I could go in. When they got in I took my cover off and went to the diving board. I dove in and felt my tail come back. I smiled. My tail gleamed in the pool water. I swam over to where the boys were. A young mermother smiled at me as her daughter swam over to me to see my tail. Only in the kingdom I'm from are tails like mine found. Our tails are very rare.
"May I touch it?" the little girl asked. She had dark red hair and a green tail that got darker as it went down. I smile at her and nodded yes. She grinned and touched my tail. Most tails were slimy and scaly but tails from my kingdom were smooth. She giggled when I tickled her with my fin. Bryan got in and turned into a dolphin. He swam over and touched my nose with his. He swam over to the little girl and did the same thing.
"Ariel! Come here." her mom called out. She smiled and swam back to her mom. Bryan turned back into a human.
"You're so good with kids." I told him, smiling.
"You're good at things too."
"Like what?" I asked. Bryan grinned and came close to me.
"Like doing this." He closed the space between us and kissed me. I felt a splash and Broke the kiss. Justin had jumped in and I finally got to see his tail. Oh my god.
