"Would you hurry up? You said this was important so I had to stop what I was doing for you, Y/n" said your best friend who was scrolling through their phone on your bed.
"Can't you see I'm busy?" you reply back while scrubbing you face, washing off the light makeup you wore today.
You rinse off the remaining cleansing foam from your face as your friend mumbles "why do you even wear makeup? You're already beautiful as it is" under their breath low enough that you can't make out what they said. Walking over to you bed, you pat your face dry with a towel and throw you hair in a ponytail/leave it down for you short hair girls.
"Come onnnn, where am I supposed to lay?" you complain seeing your friend's limbs sprawled all over the bed.
"You can lie right here" he winks looking down onto his chest.
"Shut up Changbin" you say pushing him aside, trying to make room for yourself. You've known him for your whole life and were already used to his flirty antics, but you can't help but blush a bit every time he acts this way and couldn't help but develop feelings for him.
Being that he's stronger than you, he takes this to his full advantage and pulls you onto his grasp and lies you down on top of him. You struggle against his hold and wiggle around, but he begins to stroke you hair.
"Smells like coconut" he says twirling strands of hair in his hands. You can feel the vibrations of his voice through his chest and look up at his perfectly shaped faced.
For a second, it's like the world stops but remembering why you were here, you start tickling him and he lets go thrashing around in your bed.
"Okay, now that were settled, lets get to it." you say reaching for your backpack on the floor. Pulling it up, you hear Changbin groan and look up to see him roll his eyes.
"Seriously, Y/n? You called me over to do homework??" he whines throwing his back onto the bed, with his arms spread to his sides.
"HA, I would never call you over to help me with homework. You'd be more of a bother than actual help." you laugh as he, once again, rolls his eyes and hear him mumble whatever.
"I actually called you because of... THIS" you say pulling out a video game from you backpack.
"No way..." Changbin says, staring at the game in disbelief. You can faintly see his eyes gleam and the smile on his face spreads a bit more.
"How'd you get this?? They only sold this game overseas!" he says grabbing the game from your hands. Opening up the seal, he pops open the box and picks up the cd like if it was the most precious thing in the world. Gently, he places it back in and put the game aside. He gets closer to you and hugs you tightly.
"This is why I love you." he whispers in you ear sending a cold shiver through your body.
"I-I, you're welcome," is all you can say and hug him back.
His scent of pine trees and a slight trace of vanilla sent you into a trance and made you want to never let go. His arms always felt like the safest place and never fail to lighten up your mood.
Ever since a young age, you two clicked and were inseparable. He was always there for you and knew exactly how to make you feel better. Through out the years, you inevitably grew a crush on him that only increased in time.
Getting him the game was just a small token of your appreciation, even if his feelings weren't reciprocated.
But as the hug came to end, his soft pair of lips met your cheeks and you turned to look at him surprised. A smile was still displayed on his face as he scrunched his nose and heard a small giggle.
"What was that for?" you say as you head shifts down, trying to hide the blush on your face. You hand reaches to the spot he kissed you and delicately brush your fingers over the area.
Changbin grabs hold of your hand and places his thumb under your chin and tilts you head upwards. He tilts his head a bit to side and smiles again.
"Like I said, I. Love. You." he says with a pause in between and sheepishly smiles at you.
"Like, love me love me? Or like love me?" you question, not sure of he really means. He's said those words many times before but this time they felt to hold a different meaning.
"Like love you love you" he laughs and entwines his fingers with yours. You stare at his face a bit more, still not able to believe the man of dreams actually likes you back.
"This wasn't because i bought you the game right?" you ask STILL skeptical of his confession. Instead of replying again, he brings his face closer to your and kisses you on the lips.
"If that doesn't give you the answer you want, then I don't know what to do to change your mind" Changbin laughs and jumps off the bed.
"Now, let's plaaaaayy" he says grabbing the game and your hand to pull you off the bed. You sit side by side on the floor and play until you both fall asleep on one another.
