Will Byers: Am I Okay? (Part 3)

Y/n's POV

I sighed as everyone was meeting Eleven. I didn't really know her. They had talked about her before. Mike has been mourning over her since I went on my one week vacation and Will wasn't the same. I saw Eleven push Max away harshly and walk over to Joyce. I sat on the couch alone feeling awkward.

After a minute or two she walked over to me and sat next to me. I moved away having anxiety around her. She asked me, "What's your name?"

I sighed and answered "Um... Y/n."

She smiled and said, "He'll be okay."

I smiled slightly back and asked, "How do you know?"

She smiles and says "He always survives."

I sigh and say "I wasn't here the week they met you Eleven. I'm sorry. I wish I could have met you sooner so I wouldn't seem like such a loser now."

She smiles and says "Don't be sorry. I like you."

I smirk and said "Thanks."

After awhile Eleven had gone with Hopper back to the lab. Will was chained up in the shed with Joyce, Jonathan and Nancy. The rest of us were in here. I sat on the couch, zoning out, then I heard the door open.

I darted my attention to the door to see Max's brother standing there. He grabbed Lucas and pushed him into the bookshelf and then Steve came along and punched him.

I was shocked and they were throwing hits at each other before Billy had Steve on the ground and was beating the shit out of him. I was in so much shock that I could barely move. I was in more shock when Max walked up and jabbed her brother with a damn needle. He fell back onto the floor and she started yelling at him. Then... She smashed the nail coated bat right between his legs and the boys were in shock but I just clung to Mike out of fear. The tears burned my eyes and Mike tightened his grip around my waist. Then Billy passed out.

Mike still had his grasp around my waist when he said "Guys... Bandage Steve up and bring him out to the car and let's go now. Grab materials and LET'S GO!"

After a while of packing the car, we dragged Steve into the back of it. We bickered over who would drive and eventually I just climbed in the driver's side. Everyone else climbed in and I started the car.

After a while of driving, I looked over at Lucas in the passenger seat and asked: "Where exactly are we going?"

"Um... Max? Where are we going?"

Mike answered for her "We're going to the pumpkin patch."

I sighed and continued and he woke up. Steve woke up and was confused as hell.

He looked around and everyone talked to him. I turned into the pumpkin patch a few seconds later and we all geared up. I went to pull on the goggles and looked down into the pit and got scared. I backed up into Dustin and he rubbed my back and said "hey it's alright. We'll be okay."

I sighed and pulled on the goggles and climbed into the pit. We were walking down there for a little while through the blue tunnels and white flakes falling around us. We continued to walk and heard Dustin scream.

We turned back and he was curled up on the ground holding his face.

I walked away out of fear and nobody noticed because of Dustin. I walked through the tunnels some more. I saw an open area and knew that was the main spot we were looking for. I panicked and called back "GUYS!" and all I heard was an echo. Me being panicky as hell I curled into a ball and muted every sound around me and let out a small helpless "guys?!" before curling into a cacoon and sobbing my heart out.

I heard someone yell out "Y/n?!" but couldn't respond. I was cold and shaking to death from it. I felt as if my lips were black and my eyes were white. I heard "Y/n!" Not like a question but a statement and then felt arms around me rubbing up and down my arms and then a grey piece of apparel was hung around my shoulders.

I looked up to see Steve without his coat and to notice it was around me. He pulled me up into his arms and looked at the area and asked: "Is this it?"

I nodded my head and ran into it as Mike passed me the gasoline I poured it around as I shook from the cold and Max climbed in and hugged me, warming me up. She pulled me out and we ran. as they dropped the flame and we had to leave. As we were leaving we saw a demo dog and I hid behind Mike and he faced me and rubbed my arm saying "It's okay."

We got out after Dustin re befriended the dog. When we got back... Will was safe and sitting on the couch.

I was walking in when Will looked over at me and I burst into tears running over and hugging him. He whispered in my ear "Are you okay?"

I shook my head no and cried into his shoulder. I shook in his arms and he whispered: "did I scare you?"

I nodded my head and he pulled me in tighter and said "Don't worry. I'm here now. Just me and you versus the world. Alright?"

I just looked into his eyes and he looked around (I'm coming in) and then he kissed me. I kissed back and he pulled away and threw himself at me and hugged me as if he didn't want to look at my face after that. I blushed and hugged back.

He whispered "I love you and I promise I will NEVER scare or hurt you again." and kissed my cheek. I blushed again and said "Thank you. I love you, Will Byers."

He smiles and asks pulls away cupping my cheeks and asking "Am I okay?"

 I nodded my head and said "Yeah Will... You're okay." and wrapped my arms around his waist again.
