The ambulances had arrived and so had the police. Ziva was rushed to the hospital and went into surgery to save her. Abby was lying unconscious in a different part of the hospital. McGhee, Tony and Gibbs were all in the room were Abby was lying unconscious. Tony was puffy eyed and had his head in his hands. McGhee was worried sick about abby. The doctors had checked to see if the baby was alright and McGhee was pleased to hear that the baby was fine. Abby starts to wake up slowly, McGhee notices and then shoutß for a doctor to come in. The doctor comes in and checks to make sure everything is alright which it is. Tony is still crying into his hands. Abby sits up and says "is Ziva ok." Tony looks up at Abby and burst into tears again. Abby gets out of the bed and sits next to Tony and says "she isn't dead is she." Tony shakes his head. Gibbs stands up and says "Tony Ziva will be fine ok. She is a fighter. She doesn't give up easily and both you and I know that." Tony stands up and shouts "yes Ziva may be a fighter but that's when she has her gun. She doesn't have her gun with her right now does she. She is in a bed being cut into to save her life Gibbs. What if she doesn't survive hu. What are we going to do if she doesn't Gibbs." Tony starts to cry again. Gibbs then says "Tony don't think like that. It won't help you or Ziva if you have a negative attitude." Tony laughs a little and says "Boss I don't think it really matters anymore. Ziva is in there being cut into and all I'm doing is sitting here crying like a fucking baby." Abby starts to stress out. Too much stress isn't good for the baby. McGhee goes over to abby and sits down and tells her to calm down.
A few hours later the doctors come out and inform the team that Ziva survived the surgery but she is an induced coma. The doctor allows them to come in and they do so. Tony sees Ziva lying there emotionless and runs to her side and holds her hand crying. Abby, Gibbs and McGhee come in and sit down next to ziva.
~two months later~
Tony hasn't left ziva's side, there still hasn't been a change, Ziva has stayed in that bed for two months straight and no change and no sign of her regaining conscience. Abby is two months pregnant now and comes into the hospital with mcghee, Gibbs and bishop. They all sit down. Tony is holding ziva's hand and staring into blank space. He is consumed by grief. Abby pulls her chair forward and starts to talk to ziva as if she would if she was awake, "Hey Ziva, I'm two months pregnant now. I found out what gender the baby is. Me and McGhee are having a baby girl." She smiles and looks at McGhee. Ziva's finger twitches but no one notices. Doctor Holmes comes in and says they need to go into his office. So they leave Ziva and go and sit in the doctors office. The doctor slowly says "I'm sorry to tell you all this but She has been in this condition for two months, we don't think there will be a change and she could be in pain." Abby knows were this is going and shouts "NO, U CAN'T DO THAT... YOU JUST CAN'T." Tony looks at Abby confused. McGhee is trying to calm her down. Tony still doesn't understand and says "what does she mean doctor..." the doctor looks at Tony and sighs "I'm so sorry, but we will have to turn the life support off." Tony's mind goes blank, he isn't thinking straight. His head is everywhere. Then he says "NO U can't do that.... if you do that it's murder... do you hear me... MURDER!!!!!!" Gibbs and McGhee are trying to calm Tony down. Abby runs into the room where Ziva is lying slowly stirring. Abby looks at her, Ziva moves her finger and Abby sees. Abby shouts "help... someone come quick." Doctors came in and so did Tony, McGhee and Gibbs looking panicked. Ziva looks at them funny and says "Why do you guys look so panicked." Tony laughs and runs to Ziva and locks her in a teddy bear hug. Abby laughs to. The doctors check Ziva out to make sure everything is ok.
~5 weeks later~
Ziva has been released from hospital and has now moved in with Tony. They are in work laughing with each other when Abby walks in. She looks at them and smiles "you two look happy." Ziva smiles and walks to abby and says "so nearly 4 months pregnant and still coming to work." Abby smiles and says "can't do much anymore. Oh I didn't tell you what gender I'm having did I." Ziva shook her head. Abby smiles and says "I'm having a girl and I'm going to call her Tali after your sister." Ziva hugs Abby. Tony and McGhee are talking with each other and he sees an excited Ziva and sneaks up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist and pulls her close. Ziva laughs. Abby smiles and sits down. Ziva releases herself from tony's grasp and sits at her desk. Gibbs comes up and says "grab your gear, dead marine." Ziva takes her gun out of her desk and puts it in gun holder and grabs her bag. Tony does the same and walks out next to ziva.
20 minutes later they arrive at the crime scene. A young male marine is lying face down with blood surrounding his body. Ziva starts to take some photos while Tony interviews witnesses and McGhee collects evidence. Ducky and Palmer come and take the body back to autopsy. Ziva is take pictures of the blood splatter and she takes one look and turns and runs to a bin, where she throws up. Tony is still interviewing the witness but Gibbs sees what has happened. He legs it to ziva and says "Ziva are you ok." Ziva stops throwing up and looks at Gibbs and says "I think so." Ziva looks exhausted and leans on Gibbs for support. They walk back to the van, McGhee sees this and quickly goes over Tony and whispers in his ear "Tony what's wrong with Ziva." Tony stops writing and looks up and sees her leaning on Gibbs, he sprints over to her and kneels in front of her and says "oh my god, Ziva what's happened." Gibbs looks at Ziva and tells the lads
"She has just threw up." Tony is confused and says "Why did you come to work if you felt sick." She shrugged her shoulders. Gibbs said to the lads to finish up here while he drove Ziva back home. When they arrive at ziva's and Tonys Ziva sits on the couch feeling sleepy. Gibbs goes back to ncis where a worried Tony is pacing up and down. He sees Gibbs and sprints to him and says "is she ok." Gibbs nods. Abby comes up and sees that Ziva is missing "where is Ziva guys." Gibbs says "she threw up at the crime scene." Abby goes to lab and rings Ziva. Ziva is in the bathroom throwing up and she rushes to the phone "hello... Ziva speaking." Abby's says "Hey Ziva it's Abby, I heard what happened are you ok." Ziva forces a smile and says "Yep perfectly fine." Abby then says "Ok I'll see you when I see you." Ziva hangs up and runs to the bathroom once again.
2 months later
Ziva is still throwing up on and off but no one notices. Ziva is at home as Gibbs has given her a few days off to get better. She has been felling like this for 2 months. Ziva sits on the bed and opens a pregnancy test. She goes into the bathroom and comes out a few minutes later. She waits. She picks it back up and checks it. It's what she thought. She was pregnant. She starts to cry.
