Abby is now nearly 7 months pregnant and is on her way to ziva's. She knocks on the door. Ziva composes herself and walks to the door. She opens it surprised to see Abby. "Hey Ziva are u busy." Ziva shakes her head and let's Abby come in. Abby sits on the couch and Ziva goes to make some tea. Abby comes into the kitchen and says "Ziva can I go to the bathroom." Ziva fakes a smile and says "yes ofcourse." Abby makes her way to the bathroom. She sees a pregnancy test lying on the floor surrounded by tissues. Abby gets closer and sees that it is shown as positive. She goes back downstairs and sits on the couch. Ziva comes in and sits down and gives Abby her tea. Abby smiles and says "so you feeling any better." Ziva shakes her head and has a sip of tea. Abby then says "Ziva, I wasn't snooping but I found this on your bathroom floor." She pulls out the pregnancy test and Ziva is frozen. Ziva looks anywhere but at Abby. Abby smiles and says "So you are pregnant." Ziva nods. Abby says "does Tony know... oh my god he is going to be so happy." Ziva starts to cry. Abby says "Ziva why are you crying. Don't you want the baby." Ziva then says "yes of course I do but what if Tony isn't ready to be a dad." Abby puts her arm around her and says "he will be don't worry." Abby then looks at the clock and says "well I'm going to ncis do you want me to tell Tony to come back." Ziva shakes her head and says "i'll tell him tommorow." Abby leaves and goes back to ncis happy and excited. Tony is sorting through cold cases with mcghee when Abby comes in. McGhee says "Why do you look so happy." Abby just smiles and sits down. Gibbs comes in and notices abbys strange mood " Abs why are you so happy." She says "NO reason." Gibbs comes closer and gives her the stare. "Abby what are you keeping from us." Abby looks everywhere but at Gibbs but she finally cracks. "Ok ok but Ziva wanted to tell you this tommorow. She is pregnant." Tony looks shocked and says "is that why she has been throwing up loads." Abby nods. Abby's phone starts to ring... It's Ziva facetiming Abby. Abby points at her phone and names Ziva to the lads they sneakily stand around the phone but so Ziva won't see them. Abby answers and says "Hey Ziva everything ok." Ziva looks dreadful and says "NO everything is far from ok. I'm in so much pain and all I keep doing is throwing up... even when I try and eat I can't." Abby's says to her "don't worry Ziva I'm coming ok." Ziva nods and hangs up. Ziva runs back to the bathroom and throws up some more. Abby Tony McGhee and Gibbs are all coming back to the house but Ziva doesn't expect this. The come in Abby first and she says "Ziva it's me. Where are you." Ziva is still throwing up and says "were do you think I am Abby. I literally live in this bathroom." Abby says "come down here for a minutes Ziva flushes the toilet and slowly walks down the stairs saying "abs I'm sorry I snapped the baby is making me snap at anyone. I'm surprised I haven't snapped at Tony yet. Tony is sitting there and Ziva is shocked. "Ziva Abby told us that you are pregnant." Ziva looks at Abby. Abby shrugs her shoulders. Tony ran to Ziva and hugged her. Ziva smiled.
1 month later
Ziva comes to work feeling a little bit better. She sits at her desk while the lads are at a crime scene. Abby comes up and sits in McGhee's chair and says "it's boring isn't it." Ziva smiles and says "Yep. How's that little one in there." Abby pats her stomach and smiles, she says "she is fine." The boys arrive back and the girls stand up.. all of a sudden a bullet out of nowhere misses Ziva by an inch. Tony looks out the window trying to see where it came from. Abby yells in pain. "Ziva I think she's coming." Ziva shouts "someone call an ambulance." McGhee dials 911 but there is no service. Ziva is trying to calm Abby down. "Ok McGhee keep trying until you get service, ok people I need a towel a cold flannel and a bowl of water." People are scattering everywhere to get these things Gibbs looks at Ziva "Ziva none of us know how to deliver a baby. We need to wait for an ambulance." Ziva is telling Abby "Abs take big breaths... big breaths ok. Gibbs I know how to deliver a baby, i was there when my sister was born. And this baby is going to be out before the ambulance gets here anyway." Ziva takes abbys pants off, McGhee is holding her hand while trying to get service. Abby starts to push with all her might. "Come on Abs you can do this Abby remember big push ok. Come on.... wait I can see her head... I can see her head. Come on Abby one final push. Abby screams in pain and then a baby's cry is heard. Ziva is holding the new born baby, the ambulance is on its way. Abby breaths normally and takes hold of her little girl. Ziva smiles and sits back. The ambulance finally arrive and take Abby and the baby to hospital. The team follow.
Half an hour later the team are in a room with Abby and the new arrival Tali.
