I wake up the next day to find Damon staring at me. I groan in pain. This is the first time in a long time that I've had a hang over. I roll out of bed with another groan and head to the bathroom locking the door behind me. I look in the mirror to find a hideous beast that I call my face. Today will be a magic day. I magic myself clean so the rotten smell on me goes away, next I magic the leftover makeup I didn't take off last night off my face and magic a new coat on. The end result is a grey smokey look with winged eyeliner. Next I physically brush my teeth so I can get the smell of blood and alcohol off my breath. While brushing. I study my hair. I snap my fingers sending my hairs into long loose curls. I spit and finish up with the bathroom as Damon knocks on the door.

"Matt just called, he says your working today." Damon yells through the door.

"You don't have to be so loud but Ok, almost ready, meet you in the kitchen." I say in a soft tone. My head is pounding. I pop a few Advil. Magic a clean uniform on. Spray some vanilla perfume on and head downstairs. I go into the kitchen and straight to the liquor. I grab vodka and take a few swigs for the hair of the dog cure. It works slightly but I still need the Advil to kick in. I also need some blood. I go into the fridge next and grab a bag.

"Let's go, your driving me." I tell Damon. I throw him the keys while he's reading the news paper and the counter. He grabs the keys and we get in the car. On the ride over I drink my blood and my hangover goes away. We get to the grill and Damon kisses me good bye. I go in and there isn't anyone here but people are starting to come in for the lunch rush. I get to work and work at the bar.

"Hey, can I get a gin and tonic?" I man asks me with a british accent. I grab the alcohol and pour it out for him.

"Anything else with this?" I ask giving it to him. I then look at him realizing its klaus.

"What are you doing here?" I ask surprised.

"None of your business sweet heart." He says.

"You know maybe, if you just did what I said we could be friends. I could help you out, you could help me out. We could actually be very good friends if you chose to be." I say walking away slightly.

"Fine! I'll tell you but not because you what you said it's more to warn you." He says. He drags his finger along the rim on the glass going around and around.

"I just heard that there is now a cure out there for vampirism. If someone gets their hands on it and uses it against me, I'm done for!" He says.

"Well then, it really is a sham we aren't friends." I say with a laugh and go serve some tables. Once I return Klaus's drink is gone from the cup. He hold the glass up signaling for more and I get him another. I go back over to give him the drink.

"What did you mean by it really is a shame that we aren't friends, what do you know?" He says squinting a little at me and pointing his boney finger at me.

"Actually I know a lot. I talk to the original witch often." I say.

"Ok, so what do you know?" He asks.

"Look, why the hell would I tell you anything, you turned me friend into one of your hybrids, and your using Elsa's blood." I say wiping the counter.

"I'll do anything if you tell me what the cure is or where the cure is." He says.

"Stop turning hybrids, and stop coming after me and my friends, promise that you will listen to me and give me your word that you will always obey me and not start shit!" I say.

"I give you my word and I never break my word but as long as you promise not to come after me!" He says.

"Truce!" I say sticking out my hand.
