~Tomika~

Today I walked into my new class with Zack. I feel so free now, like I don't have the weight of the band on my shoulders. I can finally learn and get an education. Sure, school of rock meant EVERYTHING to me but my future also means EVERYTHING to me. Gotta have one or the other.

"Hello everyone, id like you to meet our two newest students, Zack Kwon and Tomika Young. They both just transferred from Mr. Finn's class." Our new teacher, Mrs. Gray said.

"So since you're new to our class and probably don't know anyone, I'll sit you two together." She said and chose two seats next to each other for us. I sat down and Zack sat down beside me.

We were quickly catching up with what they were doing but to everyone, we seemed pretty stupid. Since all we learned in Mr. Finn's class was rock music, we weren't caught up on math kids our age should know.

But Zack and I are doing good and we are both happy with our decision to leave.

~Summer~

I am still pretty sad over what happened with Tomika yesterday. She is my best friend and I just lost her. I feel like I'm never there for her, like she likes Zack more than me. He's her bestfriend, I'm just the one who betrayed her.

"Hey, dudes and dudettes." Mr. Finn walked into the room. I couldn't help but glare at him. He is the reason Tomika and Zack aren't here.

"Ready to ROCK!?" He asked and the class cheered. They don't even care about them either...

We got out the instruments and arranged the classroom.

We then started singing somebody to you. I remember when Tomika sang it as a duet with Zack. It was perfect. But Erika singing it solo is like nails on a chalk board to my ears.

It was 10:57, we still have about 30 minutes till lunch. I just kept looking at the time waiting for class to be over. Then when it hit exactly 11, the back door burst open.

Everyone gasped. it was Principal Mullins..

"What is going on here!?" She yelled. "She was right..." She said under her breath. I noticed she was holding a folded piece of paper in her hand.

"Who was right?" I asked nervously. "I got a note telling me you're class is school of rock. I thought it was Clark at first but the note clearly says 'this note is not from Clark' . " She said.

"It's not what it looks like! I swear." Mr. Finn said. "Oh its exactly what it looks like. You're fired. Pack your stuff and meet me in my office." She said. Mr.Finn sighed and set his guitar down. He grabbed his stuff and walked out.

"Who wrote you that note?" Freddy asked.

"It says here it was one of your fellow classmates, Tomika Young. Where is she?" She asked.

"Tomika wrote that? Why would she do that?" Erika asked out loud.

I just couldn't process it. Why would she snitch? Is she that mad?

"Hello? I said where is she?" Principal Mullins asked again.

"She transferred to Mrs. Gray's, ma'am." Freddy said.

"but this doesn't make sense. Tomiks would never do something like that." I stood up.

"She obviously would." Principal Mullins said handing the note to me.

"Read it to that class." She said and I nodded.

" 'Dear Principal Mullins,

I know you have been trying to find out who School of Rock is and I can tell you for sure. It's Mr. Finn's class. They are the entire band and Clark is not lying. This note isn't from Clark either. This is Tomika Young and I am in School of Rock. I thought that we have kept this a secret long enough and it's time to tell you. If you don't believe me, come to our classroom at 11:00 and come from the right side where we don't have a camera. You'll walk in and see the band. Just come.
