Ch.7: why would you do this?

"Aria. I hate to do this." Jacob said pulling me into his chest with his right arm pinned against my back.

I couldn't escape.

I looked over at Peter, who looked terrified.

Jacob reached into his coat pocket with his left hand.

"What are you doing?!" I asked even louder and more terrified.

"I'm sorry." Jacob said.

Jacob pulled out a gun and pointed it at my stomach.

Everything went into slow motion.

"Why would you do this?" I asked softly.

I let a tear roll down my cheek.

Peter shot a web at the gun.

Jacob pulled the trigger.

Peter's POV:

F*CK. F*CK. F*CK. F*CK. F*CK!

I yanked the gun out of Jacob's hand with my web.

Bry, Lily, MJ, and Ned ran to Aria's side.

"So your the 'Spider-Man?'" Jacob said taunting me.

I watched Bry press the alert button on Aria's phone.

"WHY WOULD YOU HURT HER?!" I yelled at Jacob.

"What are you gonna do about it, Penis Parker?" Jacob said taunting me.

"This." I said.

I shot a web onto Jacob's face.

I kicked him in the balls and flipped him onto the ground.

I shot webs all on his body that stuck him onto the ground.

I ran to Aria's side.

She was bleeding like crazy, and she was unconscious.

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!" I yelled at Jacob.

Everyone had already fled the school.

"Peter, hey. Calm down. She will be okay." MJ said to try and calm me down.

"You don't know that!" I snapped at MJ.

Bry was sobbing, Ned has passed out from all the blood, and Lily fled the gym.

Tony Stark showed up.

"ARIA!" Mr. Stark yelled running to her side.

Mr. Stark picked Aria up and flew her away.

I followed Mr. Stark by web.

An ambulance pulled up as I swung away.

Fear.

Sadness.

Shock.

Why would Jacob do this??

What if she dies?

What if she's in a coma?

It's all my fault.

I couldn't save her.

At the hospital:

I was waiting outside the surgery center with Bry, MJ, Lily, and all the Avengers.

Aunt May even showed up to make sure Aria was okay.

Ned was sent home, he's not allowed to be around blood or hospitals even for a few days until he recovers from seeing all that blood.
