Ok, so about 4-5hrs ago I sautéed sone yellow squash...... I loved it & wanna try something w/ it again next time.....
I used the following:
3 yellow summer squash, sliced or chopped (the ones that look like eggplants-🍆-not the round ones!!!)
My blend of spices
Vegetable oil (u only need a little 2 coat the bottom of the skillet)
Instructions:
preheat skillet w/ the oil on med-high heat..... carefully put the squash in the skillet & add ur spices like so:
I keep the lid on while the squash is cooking & I usually do this 4 about 5-10mins or until the squash starts 2 shrivel up like bacon.... then I shut the eye off, let the contents set 4 a few mins b4 transferring it in2 a plastic container... view below as reference:
Once ur positive the stove top is off & ur workspace has been cleaned, enjoy this little snack (well I ate it as a snack, but u can serve it w/ whatever u eat...)
if u like 2 have a "food pyramid meal", add some meat,
(I'd eat this along w/ either chicken or beef) & some kind of pasta on the side; rice or mac-n-cheese, maybe a salad if ur a vegetarian..... hey! Make a salad & throw the squash on top! Drain it of the oil 1st tho! I h8 greasy fat on salads! When I eat salad my favorite dressing has always been Italian! ///-^ Brand? I like Hidden Valley the best, but Wishbone is good 2!Well that's all 4 now.... any questions? Feel free 2 ask & I'll get back 2 u asaic (as soon as I can)! L8rz!!!!
