My eyes wander in the mirror, taking a good look at the person in front of me. I was wearing black, distressed skinny jeans along with a red low-v tank top that had small ruffles in the front. My white Nike Air Force Ones were slightly beat up, but it added to the "edgy" look. My makeup was glammed up, eyeliner "fleeky" as usual. I released a sigh before turning around to face my best friend, Sydney.

"Wow, Rosie, you look so good," Sydney calls me by my nickname, and a smile immediately appears on both of our faces.

"That's definitely you," I commented back. I immediately twirl my black, wavy hair between my fingers, showing I was already nervous.

"How excited are you to go see Lil Xan in CONCERT?!" Syd exclaimed, making me laugh.
I rolled my eyes and quickly grabbed my phone that had money in the phone case in case if we would need some water, considering the idea that it was a closed venue.

"You ready?" Sydney asked me, in which I nodded as a reply. I felt as though I was forgetting something, but I decided to wave it off.

We both head out my room door and walk down the stairs, going through the living room and out the door.

"Are you sure we want to use your car? I mean...it's failed you a couple of times and it's going to be on the highway for an hour," I pointed out, but Sydney waved it off.

"It'll be fine, I promise we will be okay! You need to stop worrying so much," Sydney hopped in the drivers seat, and I went in the passenger. I couldn't help but think if only it were that easy to not worry so much.

"Milwaukee, here we come!" We both cheered as Syd started the car and drove off.

My anxiety began to rise once we found a parking spot and got out of the car. Ohhhh shit this place looks sketchy. Many people were walking all around, some homeless, some going to the concert, and some that are just doing their own thing. The concert is supposed to start in about an hour, and I've been worrying that we won't make it in time. Sydney attempted to calm me down, as she always does, but it only worked a little bit. We hiked about  3/4 of a mile before reaching the venue and entering in the darkly lit room. We got in line for the scanning of tickets.

It was absolutely crowded, and my senses were overcome with the smell of weed and alcohol.

"Wow, that's uh, definitely a strong smell," Sydney joked around. I chuckled.
"Hey, you have the tickets right?" I look over to Sydney, and her face goes pale.

"I thought you had brought them," Sydney's voice quivers.

"Oh my god, no, I thought I told you to bring them! Shit! What the fuck are we supposed to do now?" I immediately begin to panic, especially since we were next in line.

"Tickets please," the huge, male security guard asked.

"Um yeah, so like, we totally forgot our tickets at our house and we live an hour away! Is there any way you can just let us through?" Sydney pleaded.

"No, but if you did buy tickets than you should've gotten a confirmation email with the barcode of the tickets," he displayed annoyance all across his face.

"Oh yeah, I'll get that out right now!" I opened my phone and tried to get into my email, but nothing would show up due to there being no data. I silently whispered "fuck" and recalled that my data wasn't working since we left the car.
