Chapter 3

JAKE'S POV
I had finally unlocked the door when it flew open hitting the wall harshly. This revealed Sunny. She looked worried and flustered. Like something happened. Erika and I both looked at each other and Erika rushed over to my side.
E: Sunny are you okay? You looked worried
S: No... Something happened.
J: I think we may need some more clarification Sunny.
Sunny then started to calm down a bit and took slow heavy deep breaths before speaking.
S: Something happened to Anthony and it's not good.
Immediately after she said that I bolted down the stairs and rushed to where Anthony was.

ERIKA'S POV
Sunny revealed herself after Jake had unlocked the door. She looked worried and scared. Jake and I shared glances before I rushed over to Jake's side.
E: Sunny are you okay? You look worried.
S: No... something happened.
J: I think we may need more clarification Sunny.
Sunny continued to take deep heavy breaths and she started to calm down.
S: Something happened to Anthony and it's not good.
Jake then ran down the stairs and ran around the house trying to find Anthony. Sunny and I soon rushed behind Jake. This can't be good.

JAKE'S POV
I rushed around the house trying to find Anthony when I heard Sunny yell at me.
S: He's in his room.
I looked behind me to see Erika and Sunny following me. I had to go all the way back upstairs. I ran up the stairs and into Anthony's room. The door was locked so I had to pick the lock until the lock released and I could open the door. The door hit the wall with a loud thud and that's when I saw it.

TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️

Anthony was pacing back and forth with a gun pressed up against the side of his head. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. I rushed over to him and immediately took the gun out of his hand. He turned around noticing me.
A: Yo what the heck.
Anthony tried pulling back for the gun but I held it out of his reach. By then Erika and Sunny were standing outside the doorway watching the whole scene.
J: Anthony stop!
Anthony was still reaching for the gun as I held it high above my head with tears streaming down both of our faces.  Anthony eventually gave up and I gestured Erika to come over to me to grab the gun. She looked scared and paced towards me slowly. She grabbed the gun out of my hand and looked at me and I nodded my head. She walked back towards the doorway where Sunny was staring at Anthony stunned and tears stinging her eyes. I looked back at Anthony who now had his head in his knees breathing heavily. I tried shaking him but he didn't budge. I took my hands off of him and stared down at my face asking myself so many questions in my mind. I sighed deeply and looked back Anthony who was still in the same position. I was now balling and Erika and Sunny just stood there staring.
J: Anthony... why?
Again I got no answer so I started to walk away. There was clearly no point talking about to him. So instead I was just going to call the suicide hotline and  tell them the situation. I started to walk though the door when Anthony started to speak. I stopped in my tracks and listened.
A: I couldn't do it Jake. I COULDN'T DO IT ANYMORE!
I turned around to see Anthony crying and collapsing down to the floor. I went over to him and put my hand on his shoulder.
J: Why didn't you say something. To me to anyone.
A: You guys wouldn't have cared. You hate me after what I did. Even after you let me live here. Let me back into your life. All of you still hate me. I hate me. The decisions I made in my life and to myself I hate myself so much Jake. I couldn't live anymore. There was too much pain. I needed to end it. End the pain.
