Why is it that the people we love the most, get snatched away from us so suddenly. We really have no idea if were ever gonna see the person you just talked to today, again. All we know is some day it's gonna be their time to go whether we like or not.

I've been confused over the past couple of months on whether there is a god or not up there. If so why would he take my precious sister from my arms, making me become the most fragile, weak person to walk this earth? Why would he take my sassy best friend away a 4 months before her high school graduation, a month before our trip to Hawaii, 3 months before her18th birthday? Why did I contribute to it?

Only a year older than me, she had so much ahead of her. She got accepted into UCLA plus two internships. She had a perfect boyfriend who was planning on purposing in the near future. I just don't understand why it happened, Why I let it happen.

I laid in my bed thinking over the past 4 months, I became addicted to alcohol and cigarettes, marijuana, cocaine. I convinced myself it's great. It helps me forget about all this shit. I'm sick and tired of looking at my depressed parents every day, and then they take everything out on me. But I don't blame them, it is practically all my fault, my family fell apart.

I've been told many times,

"It wasn't your fault morgs,"

"It was a mistake"

but nobody was there that night. No one watched her as she laid on the hood of my car. Nobody except me.

"Morgan? You're daydreaming again, you gotta stop doing that," Alison laughed quietly, after snapping her fingers in my face. She sat at the end of my bed with Vanessa as they scrolled through whatever apps on their phones.

"What are you doing?" Vanessa asked looking up from her phone, now both of them laughing.

"Just thinking...would you guys wanna go to calum's party tonight?" I smiled slightly

"I just need to get things off my mind." I added.

"If there's gonna be vodka i'm in!" Alison shouted moving her fingers through her light brown hair and smirking.

"You and vodka..." Nessa, her nickname, rolled her eyes.

A/N: haaaay girl haaay so ik this is kinda short for the first chapter but i really suck at this lawl, um but this book is new and a luke hemmings fanfic. i used to have this book but as a Justin bieber fanfic but i didnt really like it so i changed it to 5sos and also changed the characters...like in the justin bieber one morgan was played as selena gomez...but now shes played by the beautiful emily rudd and lemme just say emily is literally queen. sorry lol but i thought selena didnt go good with luke...even tho sel is super gorg i love her. Also guys i kinda changed the plot so yeah i hope you guys like this newer version of the summer before senior year...feel free to leave any comments about what you think even if its negative but in a polite way please :) thanks lovelies
