1.Brown Eyes

Aria POV

"... Aria come home to us. We are your-" I get jolted up from my sleep as Colton my 11 year old brother screeches in my ear ,"SIS WAAAKEEEE UP!" Nearly deafening me as he ruins my sleep he pushes me up in a sitting position. "Here take this." He hands me my breakfast, scrambled eggs and orange juice. Aw so sweet. I kiss his cheek and thank him. He grins up to me showing his toothy boxy smile and replies in a cute voice,"Mom said Aria you are late for shool" School. "so get up fast and brush and eat and come down."

Glancing for the first time at the clock my eyes spring out from my socket. Dang it. Dang IT. DANG IT. Only 20 minutes left for school to start. Quickly jumping like a clumsy ninja from the bed I gently push Colton out. "Honey go wake your Tiara up." Tiara was Colton's twin sister. His twinny as he says. And she likes to say goodbye to me before I leave for school so as soon as I wake up I ask someone to wake up Tia.

I reach my bathroom and brush my teeth super fast take quickly take the messiest shower of my life. Wrapping the towel around me I go to the closet and start rummaging. Picking up a graphic tee and my faded denim cuttoffs I put them on. Gulping down the orange juice and choking myself on the eggs I take my aviators and converse and leave the room. I run down the stairs tying my converse up. Hopping like bunny and hoping I don't break my bones.

I know not the best move but that's Adrianna Elessandra Faith for you. Initials AEF aka Always Etiquette Free. That weird petname is kept by Regal my best friend. Who is going to kill me for coming late today as I had promised to meet her before the first ring. Sigh. Reaching the botton with no injuries and successfully tying my laces I see Tiara sitting on the couch rubbing her eyes. I run towards her pick her up and kiss her forehead. "Aria gotta rush Tia. I love you. Go back to sleep". "I love you too Aria. Byie". Putting her down I hug Colton and shout a quick bye to my mom. I hear a faint "Bye honey take care." from the kitchen as I take my keys and open the main door.

Rushing out I sit in the driver seat. Turn on the engine and floor it. Driving safely I reach the school just in time for the first bell to ring. Parking my car a little far away from my usual parking spots I lock it and sprint towards the door. Running through the corridors towards my first class Math, Ew , I suddenly smell a distinct smell like a smell of earth on a rainy day. It was so sweet that it covered my senses and stopped me in my tracks. Inhaling deeply I look around for the source but couldn't find anything. Weird. The second bell rings and jolts me up from the stupor.

Slapping my forehead I enter the class. Mrs.Parks looks at me from above her glasses. "Ms.Faith thank you for honouring us with your presence, please you may take your seat." Flushing a dark red, I bow my head embrassingly and rush towards my bench muttering a quiet sorry. Regal who sits besides me everyday glares at me through her thick eye lashes. reaching out and touching her arm I sense her annoyance. I mouth a sorry and with my puppy eyes on extreme mode I look toward her mentally hoping she won't get much upset about it. She turns her head towards the front but I notice a tiny smile on her lips. Success.

I too turn my head towards the front and remember the rainy smell in the hallway. Never had a smell something so.. so.. tasty? I am pretty sure its some new perfume. If I get the person wearing it I am definetly asking the name and the store. The smell still lingering in my mind I drone out the voice of Mrs parks explaining something about trigo. I really hate calculus.

Ding Dong. Ding Dong. The lunch bell rings signalling the end of fourth period. I pack up my books and try to manoeuver my way around the dispersing crowd towards my locker. Suddenly I crash with a tall guy. My head crashes into his chest and I am pretty sure I gave him a bruise. Tilting my head up I look at his face. Handsome. He was pretty fair with a distinct jaw line and with blonde curly hair having blue streaks in it. But his eyes were a rich almond colour. I have seen these eyes before. I realize with a start. But where?

"Hey my name is Novah Upstark. I am really sorry I was not looking where I was going. Me and my friend are new. Can you please sit with us?" Novah asks looking shyly down. Why does he faintly smell like rain?

"Hi my name is Aria short for Adrianna. It's my fault too I was rushing without looking." looking into his eyes trying to recollect where I have seen it I continue, " I have to collect my friend Regal from my locker then we would come and sit with you."

"Thanks Aria." "No problem. Lets go find Regal."

Third Person POV

As he looks at her he is suddenly reminded of all the good things in the world. Nothing else mattered more for him now. From now on she is his whole world. His moon. His ray of light in the awakening darkness of the sky. His heartbeat. Looking at her his heart thudded deep. And a light blush coated his cheek. So beautiful. His wolf Aiden quietly murmured. Even he was mesmerised by looking at her.

She was short around 5'4" but curvy. Her wavy reddish brown hair flowed till her waist and her shorts eccentuated her toned legs. Her body language showed that she was shy but confident and the way her head was held showed that she was not scared of facing the world. Our mate is strong and she is her own person. Yes she is. He agreed silently.

But she is human. And that's the only thing that was stopping him from rushing towards her and taking her into his arms and pressing her head against his chest and staying like that for eternity. But this doesn't mattered to him. He was happy that he found her. From across the hall he could breathe in her rich smell. He almost lost his mind when he smelled her this morning. The fresh air of spring. It filled his body up and revived it. Not standing the temptation anymore he started walking towards her where she was sitting with Noah and some other girl at the lunch table.
