"The truth is you don't now what is going to happen tomorrow. Life is a crazy ride, and nothing is guaranteed."

Xavier's POV

It had been a complicated day. The sun setting in the horizon gave me hope that tomorrow would be better. Hey it's okay, Aiden comforted me. Sometimes I felt as if my wolf was a completely different person. So mature, so understanding. Thanks Aiden, I just wish that Eli would get better soon. I do too, but she is strong we just need to have faith in her. Yes.

I got more than a mini heart attack when suddenly Eli fainted today in detention room. We were supposed to write that lame essay, and I was brainstorming my mind so much that I didn't notice Eli had zoned out until much later.

She was staring blankly at me as if she was in a trance. Not blinking. I thought that she was enchanted by me so I playfully tried to wave my hand in front of her face but avail with no response.

Then with a start her body gave a lurch and she started breathing deeply as if she was running and trying to catch her breathe. I started rummaging my bag pack for a bottle. Grabbing one I took of the lid and started sprinkling some water on her face.

She finally got me into full panic mode when she further started shivering. She looked borderline possessed. Realizing she was having a panic attack I started shouting her name. Grabbing her hands I started to gently shake her.

Her brownish grey eyes were full of open wide and full of fear.  It seemed as if the light falling on her eyes were reflecting back the despair running inside. I felt the goosebumps rise on my arms.

For a split second I think she became aware and then suddenly collapsed. Her dead weight fell on me as I picked her up bridal style and rushed her to the medical room. Calling on 911 real fast I took her to the hospital.

Her parents Mr and Mrs Faith and siblings, the twins with Regal and Novah soon arrived. They were so worried about her, it was heartwarming to see that she has such a humble and loving family.

But when we complied to stay they sent me, Regal and Novah home and promised us that they would inform us once Eli regains consciousness. Now its been 5 hours and not a single missed call.

Currently I was supposed to meet Xena here. We had to lie to the girls that she was ill, where in fact she was on a mission. Officially I am the alpha and she is the beta but we like to switch our positions as it makes us less stressed.

Lately there were murders happening near our pack and soon it started becoming unsafe for the pack members to venture out. So Xena, me and my father Antonio decided to temporarily move the whole pack near a human settlement till we figure out the situation.

But yesterday we got to know that another pack already lived there. To avoid complications dad sent Xena to talk to the alpha pf the Sunfire Pack, Alpha Levi Jackson. My dad is pretty well reputated among the packs so I don't see any reason Alpha Jackson would mind us living.

Xena is nearby, Aiden who was quiet all this time nudged me awake from my thoughts. As soon as he finishes, I smell my sisters' honey like scent coming near. I turn and see her silhouette coming towards me.

"Hey Xavier! Ssup bro!?" Xena shouts, coming and hugging me.

"Xee how was the meeting?" I ask her whist hugging her back tightly, relieved to know that she was safe in my arms. I knew that my sister was as strong as me, but as a twin I will always worry about her.

"Bro dat dude was like so old. N' his muthafeeckin' breathe smelled like someone Who didn't brush his muthafeeckin' teeth afta eatin' garlic fo' two days." Xena scrunched up her nose in distaste.
