If there is a woman who seem to have it all, it's Rayna James. She has a loyal husband and two beautiful daughters. And a legendary queen of country music. 

Rayna grow up in Nashville and she is the pride of her hometown. But in this town the competition is tough. Juliette Barnes is at the top of her chart. She is a crossed over sensation and a one woman empire. 

But her roots are grounded in country music. Deacon Claybourne is the best guitar player in Nashville and a long time band leader for Rayna James. You might also catch him at the Bluebird cafe performing his own songs. 

Scarlett was Avery's biggest fan when he was struggling to make it as a musician. Her friend Gunner was also an aspiring song writer and recognized that Scarlett has her own talent. With Gunner's encouragement Scarlett got over her shyness. 

After when Scarlett performed he talked to a guy who wants her to make an album. This is how record deals are made around here.  A friendly offer can change everything. Rayna was at a crossed roads and found a battle in her career. 

In the eyes of her fans Juliette could do no wrong. But she was only interested in one thing. To be taking seriously. Rayna tour troubles could not have come at the worst time for her family. As one of Nashville's most powerful business man, Lamar Wyatt keep politicians in his back pocket. Juliette had made an offer to Deacon to come on tour with her but he turned her down. He wants to stay on tour with Rayna but Juliette comes on strong to put Deacons loyalty to the test. 

 Of course Rayna found out that they sang together and was mad at him for it and Deacon feel like she isn't there for him when he perform their songs at the Bluebird. But when it came to her husband Rayna was there standing by Teddy as he lunch his campaign. But when Mars investigators start looking into his past dealings, Teddy went on to the defensive. 

And old friend of Teddy's was working at the country club. Gunner and Scarlett went into the studio to record. And their demo lead to a full time song writing gig. 

Gonner and Hailey met and the evening went on for a better note with them. They slept together and hopefuly things don't be too awkward for them at work. Gunner and Scarlett had an opportunity to present one of their songs. They invited Avery to accompany them.  But he used it as a chance to processed his own talents. 

Endorsements and deals had made Juliette a brand name but her ambition wasn't about trying getting her to the top. She was also trying to run away from her past. But her mom was in bad shape and Juliette was left with no choice. She put her mom to a place to get her help because she was a drug addict. The distress had lead Juliette to pick up an old habit of her own. But she wasn't the only one who's past was making things difficult. With the men of her life at odds, Rayna was forced to choose sides. Juliette shoplifting insistent went viral and threatening her career.  The damaged was done. Juliette's sponsors began to drop out. Teddy history with Peggy started bubbling to the service. 

The time was right for Rayna's career to make a fresh start. But at home tension was building. Juliette was trying to get her life back on track but her mother was making things difficult. With nowhere else to turn, Juliette reached out to Deacon who overcome his own addictions. Deacon talked to her mom and she agreed to get help. After months, Avery gotten the eye of an industry insider.  

To find her new sound, Rayna needed a new producer. 

Juliette tried to put her mother's drama behind her. She moved to a new house and got back to work. A date with a wholesome young quarterback was their great PR move. 

What started as a stunt became something more. 

Just when you think things were settling down. Life throws something at you. Ed Sheeren republic 25th annual numbers reshow was the perfect venue for Juliette's come back. But Marshall Evens was calling the shots. The ideal alien two big stars and created plenty of fireworks. Rayna James and Juliet. Juliet had reached her limit and used Sean to get over her frustration. But the quarterback wasn't ready to play. Avery and his band finally got a break. Hailey had a plan to get Scarlett back on her feet. It was showtime at the Ryan for Rayna and Juliette. Sean step by to make peace and to set the record straight. He gave her some flowers. 

Rayna was all excited over that performance and they decided to recorded it as a live single. Her high though didn't last long. The photos of Teddy and Peggy was released to the public. Peggy's reaction lead Rayna to assumed the worst. Peggy tried to kill herself and Rayna finally learned the truth. Avery's career was taking off. As Scarlett moved on, Gunner revel his true feelings. And they kissed. Sean's parents invited Juliette home for dinner and she felt like part of the family but that didn't last long. Deacon gotten an offer from old friends.
