The train gently rocked from side to side as it traveled. The individual sat at the window admired the sights out of the window. The soft dawn made his complexion glow. The individual sat alone, which was what he preferred for the moment. His heart still felt faint and raced a little at the thoughts of the previous night. He was still unnerved. The threat was still fresh in his mind. Not that it cared too much now. He couldn't be tracked. He had cleared his tracks. He had all the time he needed now. All the time until he had gotten to his destination. He could be free now. He wondered if his action had been rushed. Made in the moment and a bad choice. Oh well. He couldn't go back now.
His mind wandered around and he thought of his tricks. He pulled out a pack of playing cards from his pocket. A small smile curved on his lips. Maybe he'd be able to play a game or two on the journey. Even if it was by himself.

Snow was banked up against the side of the roads and pathways. It was cold but the usual busy streets didn't faultier in popularity. The night was more busily then the day. The night covered the secrets of the street, the casinos, the bars, the clubs, the pubs. Yep. Las Vegas. It was a brilliant city. Much more rowdy and full of chaos then New York. The rowdiness, the overall morale of the place was friendly. The atmosphere was simply stunning, full of cheer and charm. This scenery was exactly what Dice needed. He had only been there a week or so and it already felt like home. The busy streets were a perfect place to hide in plain sight. Nicky wouldn't be able to find him now. Another bonus was that nobody knew who he was. Dice could start a new again, his secret of being an angel safe and secure now. Nobody in Vegas knew it. He had already settled down in his new apartment. Neighbours were nice although he tried mostly to avoid them. For the few days he had known them- they had respected his privacy and seemed to understand that he'd rather sleep at day and they should try keep the noise down. Even the landlord was completely okay with him changing the rent due date which would still be constant every month. Yup, it was official. Dice was comfortable in his new home. The only thought of his life in New York that nagged at him was the thought of him being unable to travel the country to visit his mother.
There was one place that had caught his attention within short seconds of his time in the apartment was the casino just down the road. It was large and grand. A rather big red and white building. It had a red carpet leading to the door with a semi circle of marble steps. Two large bouncers stood at it. The Devils Hell. That's what it was called. It reminded Dice of the conversation he had back in New York. He laughed at the thought now. People must of been stupid if they believed the owner was THE Devil. Dice knew that Satan had to exist though. If his Father did, then his counterpart had to. Dice thought of the promise he had made to the gentleman he had met at the bar. He wasn't sure if he'd keep it. The Devil's Hell didn't actually seem like his kind of place. Sure. It was large and impressive with what seemed to be thousands lining up to get inside, but Dice wasn't sure it was his kind of place. Too many eyes that could possibly catch him stealing. Or even cheating. Which Dice had only done on the rare occasion. He preferred to use pure skill and luck to win. Yeah.. There were better places for him to go. Like A pub down the back alley of that casino was more of Dice's style. The loud atmosphere of drunks. It was Dice's first night gambling out in Las Vegas. Boy was it easier than he originally thought. He had thought it be difficult because everyone in the city were pros. Nevermind. At least he could have fun.

"What? No way you must be cheating!"
"I'm an honest man, I only keep winning cause I'm lucky, now hand over my winnings" Dice replied calmly, holding his hand out for the coins to add to the pile in his pocket.
He had been playing a simple card game. Something other then his usual game of rolling literal dice to get the highest number possible. The scenery was much more of his style. The giddy atmosphere of the bar took the attention off of him. People were more interested in their drinks then worrying about him winning so quickly. The people in Vegas were a lot more seclusive then those in New York.
"Fine, fine here" the other gentleman snarled, rummaging for the coins in his pocket before leaning across the table and dropping them into Dice's waiting hand.
"Pleasure doin' business" Dice smirked as he closed his palm and retracted his hand back. He watched smugly and the man got up and stalked off with a growl.
It amused Dice, seeing the man so disgruntled at loosing. He snickered a little to himself in an evil manner before glancing around, looking for anyone else to gamble with. Completely oblivious to A pair of golden eyes that were watching him from the other side of the room.
