I woke up sweating, crying, and breathing heavily. I looked at the time and it was almost time for me to wake up for school. Well, I didn't need my annoying alarm clock this morning. I'm kind of relieved, I really hate that beeping sound.

I took my iPod and sat it back on my bookshelf. I went into my closet and picked out my outfit. I got an A Day To Remember band shirt, black destroyed jeans, bracelets, and my black and white converses. I walked into my bathroom and straightened my hair, since it was wavy from my shower last night.

I brushed my teeth, then put on mascara, eyeliner, and a little bit of lip gloss. I grabbed my black hoodie and backpack. I also grabbed my iPod, because today I would need it. I had a feeling today was going to be rougher than most days.

I have a best friend, but she's sick. She won't be back until next week. I miss her so much, her name is Sydney. People are scared of her that's why when she is near me they don't mess with us. She can be kind of crazy...okay fine she IS crazy.

I got into my Mercedes. It took alot of begging to get it. I had to work at a part time just to show how serious I wanted it. Yeah, I will never live down wearing a hat with a hot dog on it.

I parked my car in the school's parking lot. I put in my headphones as I was walking toward the entrance, and pulled up my hood. I felt like an outcast, no scratch that. I am the outcast.

As I entered the hallway I felt glares and stares. I was very uncomfortable, I didn't even have my music on yet. I basically power walked to my locker. I got out my chemistry book, then locked my locker.

I went into my chemistry classroom, so far there were only 3 people here. I walked all the way to the back of the classroom and sat in my seat. I turned on Sink or Swim by Falling in Reverse. The bell rung for class to begin.

Soon my classmates started filling the room. Most of everyone's eyes were on me, and they were whispering to each other. I just ignored them.

"Class we have a new student joining our class today. It's only temporary to see if his behavior changes." Mr. Thompson said. I looked up and noticed Fate at the front of the classroom.

Oh, no. There are only two seats available, the one beside me and the other by Dianna Martin. She was our queen bee of the school. The head cheerleader who's skirt is so high it looks like panties. I bet everyone who had seen her kicks have nightmares. I will never attend another football game no matter how much Sydney begs me.

I watched as Fate looked over the class and glared. I smiled on the inside. So he hates them too. "I don't have all day Mr. Rose pick a seat, or I'll pick it for you." Mr. Thompson said. Fate stomped to the back where I was. His jaw was clenched and his nose was flared.

Everyone was glaring at me like I made him sit back here. I can't help if he comes to me willingly. I couldn't help but think negative of what I just thought. It made me smile, and that pissed everyone off more.

Well, it's not like I was trying to piss them off. "Miss Donavan, would you please take out your ear buds. I actually have something important to say." My teacher yelled. I slowly took out my ear buds and heard everyone laughing at me. Fate didn't laugh, he just looked irritated.

"As I was saying, you and the person next to you will be working on a project. This will count 50% of your grade. You have to take care of a fake baby for the rest of the semester." He said. My eyes widened, Fate and I stood up at the same time.

"What!" Fate yelled.

"This is chemistry Mr. Thompson!" I yelled.

"Yes, indeed it is chemistry, but a different kind of chemistry." He said matter-of-factly, "I wanted you guys to experience a non-liquid chemistry. Plus this will entertain me."
