Today was Monday, which meant school. It also meant Fate, but it really meant Sydney was coming back. I got up in a hurry and took a shower. I hastily dressed in a plain gray camisole with a black and white flannel, faded blue jeans, and my black/white converses. I blow dried my hair, then straightened it. To finish off the look I put on eyeliner, mascara, lip gloss, and band bracelets.

"Can you be any louder getting dressed?" Fate asked groaning. He was only wearing boxers and the covers were on all over the place. "Sorry your Highness, I didn't realize your sleep was more important than my education." I said sarcastically.

He growled and opened one eye. "You actually made an effort to look nice today. Too bad you still look ugly." He said turning away. That hurt, alot. I turned and went downstairs to look for something to eat. I'm used to being called names and all, but it still hurts my feelings. I'm human too you know!

I decided on a strawberry pop-tart and some water. I started eating, then Fate came downstairs. He was wearing a Nirvana band shirt, black skinny jeans, and his converses. He still had bed head, but it looks good on him.

I didn't realize I was staring until he glared at me. "Where's my breakfast?" He asked arrogantly. Do I look like his personal chef? "I thought you didn't like human food." I stated still on my first pop-tart.

His jaw tightened as he walked over to me. "You're right. Maybe I should take your blood." He said smirking. He wouldn't. "Oh, sweet Riley, but I would. Are you offering?" He said staring at me intently. I looked away and stared at my pop-tarts. He's such a jerk.

I finished my first pop-tart and was about to start on my second one, but a hand reached out and snatched it out the wrapper. I turned and saw it in the corner of Fate's mouth. I grabbed my water and drunk it. I went to the kitchen to throw away my trash.

At least I got to eat one of them, but it feels so incomplete. I grabbed a zip lock bag and put grapes in it, made a sandwich, got a Sprite from the fridge, a water bottle, and an apple. I put them all in a lunch box. I was about to walk out the kitchen when Fate appeared in the doorway.

"Make me one." He said staring at the lunch box. What? "I said make me one." He said once again. I keep forgetting he can read my mind. I put the same things in his lunch box and gave it to him. He didn't even say thank you. He's such a jerk! I could have saved that Sprite.

I ran upstairs to get my hoodie and IPod. When I looked at my bed it reminded me of Daniel. Oh, shit! Where is he?! I ran downstairs and looked everywhere, before I walked into the guest room I gave to Fate. He was curled up on the bed. I'm glad I found him, but how did- never mind. I left the door open so he could get out.

I went to the kitchen and filled up his bowl with dog food and water. I went to the living room and Fate was standing at the door. His back was against it and he had a bored expression. He had on a leather jacket, and the lunch I packed him in his right hand.

"I'm not driving to school with you." He said before opening the door and getting inside his car. It's not like I was going to ask him for a ride.

I grabbed my keys off the hook by the door. My baby is waiting for me anyways. I figured we weren't aloud to bring our baby to school so I left him upstairs in my room.

I walked through the hallways to my locker to get my chemistry book. "You guys had sex yet?" A voice whispered in my ear. My eyes widened and I turned around.

"Sydney, what the actual fuck?" I asked her. She gave me an innocent smile before shrugging. "I just wanted to make you feel relaxed. You look nervous." She said. That's how you relax someone?!
