I woke up in a dark room. As I sat up I saw a shadow move in the corner of my vision. My heart started to pound loudly in my chest. "Don't be afraid, I won't hurt you." Fate said.

"Turn on the light." I said with a shaky voice. The lights came on and I realized I was in my room.

"Why did you come in my room, when specifically told you not to?!" I yelled at him. Yeah, it's totally fine to yell at someone who just killed a lady. He was standing near the door where my light switch was. Well, he was until he started walking toward me.

I grabbed the closest thing to me, which happened to be my lamp. I picked it up, and stood on my bed ready to throw it. "Woah, call down. No need for violence." He said, holding his hand up in surrender. I still held up the lamp. Well, at least he won't have to be afraid of the dark anymore.

"Don't come near me!" I said. He still kept taking steps toward me. I threw the lamp and he caught it with his right hand. Then, he used his vampire speed to put the lamp on my nightstand, and trap me against the wall.

He trapped my hands above my head. He leaned in next to my ear and whispered, "I won't hurt you." I calmed down a bit. He's still a blood thirsty vampire. Remember that Riley. "Get off me!" I yelled trying to get out of his grip.

He backed away smirking. I spit on his face. He gave me a disgusted look. "Do you know how gross that is?!" He yelled at me. I glared at him. "Do you know how gross drinking blood is?!" I mocked him.

He looked aggravated. "Shut up. I was born that way." Fate growled. Okay, I'm done making him angry. Yeah, he was totally born bipolar.

"If you tell anybody I'm a vampire I will turn you into one, then torture you until you beg for me to kill you." He said. I flinched. "Who am I going to tell?" I asked him.

"Look human, I'm just warning you." Fate said. Really? Human? "The name's Riley, and you can get out of my room now." I told him pointing to the door. He slammed my door as he walked out. It was almost morning, I must have been knocked out for a while.

Wait. Where was the baby? We're terrible parents. I went downstairs to the couch where I had left it. Fate was there with the baby in his arms asleep. Well, at least I know he is responsible. I got a blanket out of the hallway closet, and covered him up with it.

I went back upstairs to my room. I can't believe a vampire is actually living with me. Maybe he's a cannibal, either way it's still scary. I started to drift off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of a baby's cry. "Shut up alarm clock! It's Saturday." I yelled with my eyes closed. I moved my arm around until I found the button, but instead I felt a cold pointy thing. I kept poking it.

WAIT A MINUTE! WHEN DID A BABY SOUND AS MY ALARM?!

I opened my eyes and looked at what I was poking. It was Fate's nose. "Could you get your filthy human hand off me?" Fate asked irritated. He was under my cover with his eyes closed. The baby was laying between us. "Also, can you shut that wax figurine of your mom up?" He added.

I was about to cry, but at the same time beat the living shit out of him. Maybe I could do both. "Get out of my room!" I yelled at him. He opened his eyes and glared at me. I stood up and flipped my mattress over. He used his vampire speed to get to my door.

The baby was in his hand as he walked out. How dare he talk about my mom like that?! He doesn't know anything about my personal life. I don't want him to either.

I fixed my room back to the way it was before I flipped the mattress. I face planted on my bed. This is going to be hell. Literally.

My stomach started to growl. I got up and walked downstairs into the kitchen, what do you know the blood sucker is here. He was sitting on the counter with the baby in his arms. He looks like he's trying to protect a video game.
