Chapter 3

Camila POV

The bell just rung and its now lunch time thank god! i am so hungry i cant even feel my body... i mean i can but like god jesus im hungry!

" You lookin a bit eager there Cabello " Lauren says behind me and i roll my eyes " Yeah yeah just show me to the food! " I said and she laughed " So does that mean im your escort now officially?" I sighed and nodded " Fine but only if you show me where i can eat in less than 5 seconds! " She took my hand which i was not expecting and we ran down to hall to what im guessing is the cafeteria.

We slipped into the lines beside some girls and i started to catch my breath " Jesus lauren i almost died! " I say and she shook her head " I wouldve have saved you " She winked at me and i felt my heart skip a bit.. gosh is everyone is Santa Monica such a flirt or is it just her. i smiled politly and looked ahead trying to see what they were serving " Its pizza " She said and i gasped " My favirote! ... how did you know that anyways?" i asked curiously and she looked around seeming nervous " Just a good guess... " I nodded going along and some girls and some girls and guys came up to us " Lauren why are you in line you dont..." but lauren cut the girl off " Guys this is Camila she is new and im showing her around " They all looked at me strangly then finally after that awkward moment one of them introduced themselves " Hi im Ally, this is Normani, Taylor, Chris and Troy " i waved to them all and looked at lauren who was smiling a bit and then back at them " Were gonna go to the table catch you in a little " Ally said and they walked off and i sighed of relif .. thank god the awkward silence is gone!

we are finally at the front of the line " Wow there is pizza your a boss lauren! " I said and she shrugged " Its a gift " .. I got pizza and a cup of fruits with lemonade and lauren got pizza with just lemonade " I guess this is it.. " I said and she looked at me weird " What do you mean? she said and i shrugged " Well usually you would go sit with your friends and i go somewhere like the stair well or the bathroom to eat.. " I said kind of embarassed and she giggled " No your going to sit with me if thats ok?... " I nodded quickly " Yeah of course."

We walked to a table that had all the people i just met.. it was kind of secluded and dark.. weird " Well this is it " She said before we arrived " Cool " i said non chalantly.

We sat down and no one was eating so i felt really really awkward like...should i eat? I looked to lauren and she smiled and i gave her a slight smile back but i was still kinda freaking out " Umm lauren " I said quietly noticing everyone was in their own conversation " Yeah Cabello?" She said turning to me giving me her full attention which made me happy... in a weird way " Umm just wondering, why arent they eating?" I say and she looked around for a minute then back to me " They hate the school lunch...we usually just eat after school " she said and i nodded " Ohhh alright " I started eating my pizza.

I threw away my tray after i finished and so did lauren. She didnt even touch her pizza, i guess she dosent like the school food either " So Where did you move into to?" Lauren asks as we walk back to the table " Well... Its a house on a street called... Moon lane " She nodded "Hm i see .. i know exactly where that is " .. " Your not going to start stalking me now are you " I said winking and she laughed " No no... i was just curious " I smiled and we sat back down " Hey camila you want me to show you around the school?" she asked and i nodded rapidly anything to get away from the awkward table " Yes sure " I said and she told ally and normani something.. i couldnt really hear but whatever.

Lauren took me to the Football field then the baseball feild and now we were at the basketball court " God this school is so big " I said and she nodded " Yeah i like it ... its easy to get away from people " I thought about that for a minute looking around at the emptyness " Do you like to get away alot?" I asked and it looked like i caught her off guard " I guess.. sometimes" she said then went to a building then came back out holding a basketball " Lets play? " she said and i shook my head " No no no i really suck at sports or anything to do with hand eye cordination " she laughed and came really close to me putting the ball in my hands " Ill show you " .. i felt my heart go wild .. she was so close to me i could smell her vanilla scent " A....alright .. " Is all i could manage to stutter out.

Lauren took my hand and positioned me right in front of the hoop but on the line so i wasnt so close then got behind me " Alright all you got to do is put your feet like this " She said positioning my feel where one was in front of the other " Then put your hands up with the ball in place " She said with her arms around mines.. i could feel her breath on my neck.. im already sweating " Then you just aim and shoot it " she whispered throwing the ball from my hand and it went right in the hoop.

" Oh my god i did it ! i mean you did it but ... i did it ! " I said excitedly " yeah you did " She smiled and i hugged her.. i really dont know why but i was god damn excited " I could do this all day with you " She said and i nervously let go " Ha sorry..i didnt mean to .. you know " I said and she smiled leaving a kiss on my cheek " Dont worry about it i liked it " she said and i immediatly looked down to my shoes as if they were the most intresting thing in the world " Thanks " I said quietly not being able to go an octave higher " No problem... it almost time for class wanna go?" she asked and i nodded...

Lauren led me to a class on the 3rd floor which was Science and we both sat together in the back.

After school lauren asked if i wanted to hang out but i declined cause i have to pick Sophie up .. she asked me for my number so that she could help me tomorrow and i gladly gave it to her. Im not sure whats going to happen but i like it.... this might be my favirote move ever.
