Chapter 18

Lauren POV

Ive been all around this week looking for another with a gift like Luis'... i know no vamp has the same power as another but i tried and i came up with nothing. I found someone who can help someone jump into a memory but that was the closest i got. I am stood outside luis' house thinking about what i am doing. No one can know about this but i have to do this for Camila. I knocked on the door and it opened immediatly " Wow hi Lauren " Luis' younger brother said and i smiled " hey kiddo where is luis?" he pointed up the stairs and i smiled walking there and i opened the door of his room " Woah, this is a suprise " he said getting up from his desk and i nodded " I havent been here in forever " i said sighing and he nodded " finally wanted to try us out?" he said and i shook my head " No luis i really love Camila " i said as sincerly as possible and he looked at me for a minute and sighed " Alright lets go " he said picking up his jacket and i was confused " Where?" i asked and he smiled " To Camila " he said and i saw in his eyes the genuine Luis i knew as a kid " Thank you " i said hugging him tightly and he nodded and we both zoomed to her house.

Camila POV 

i was in my room doing homework when i felt wind hit my back. I turned around with a smile on my face knowing Lauren is going to be there but when i looked i didnt expect the evil guy there too and i freaked out " What the!" i said standing up quickly in defence " relax babe" Lauren says coming to me and holding my hands " I invited him here " she said and i shook my head " What did you promise him?" i said glaring at him and she put her hands on my cheeks turning me so i could focus on her " Nothing at all, before all this he was my brother and now he remebers where we were and we are good now, he is doing me a favor " Lauren said and i nodded turning to him " Hello " i said putting my hand out for him to shake " How do you do miss Camila " he said shaking my hand and Lauren laughed " Your very odd, okay do your magic lu " Lauren said sitting on my bed " Wait right now like this second?" i asked " There is no time like the present " Luis said with his palms opened in front of me nd i nodded. 

I placed my hands on his and closed my eyes " Hey dont get to touchy with my girl lu " she said and i giggled " Shush ! " Luis said and he started speaking quietly "Camila breath in and out slowly and consintrate on your father okay?" i nodded and did as told. after a few minutes i felt myself go somewhere else and i opened my eyes and i was on a boat, the one my father would take us on every weekend of the summer to fish. I moved to the front of the boat watching the waves move under the boat..

"You always loved watching water nena " i heard a familiar voice say behind me " Papi! " i said running to him and he wrapped his arms around me " Hola Camila " he said hugging my tighter and i felt tears stream down my face " i miss you " i said and he nodded " I miss you too mila, how are you?" he said looking at me and i nodded " Good and you?" i said and he smiled " Very good " 

me and my father sat at the front of the boat talking for what seemed like hours, he told me that he watched over my sister mom and I every day and he belives my life is good and that i have picked good people to surround myself with. He also said he was happy with his father and mother up in heaven and that it was a beautiful place that he could not even explain. 

We were sitting in silent watching the sky and he turned to me " I know you have a connection to me now but i dont want you to live your life trying to get to me mija, i need you to live down there for real... with our family and your new love " he said with a smirk and rolled my eyes " Are you okay with ... us?" i said and he nodded " As long as your happy, that is cliche but i honestly just want to look down and see you smiling okay?" i nodded and he hugged me so tight " Live your life Camila " he said in my ear and i nodded but i felt him slipping away " Papi dont go! " i screamed as i couldnt feel him holding me anymore " Papi! " i said and opened my eyes seeing Lauren and Luis standing in front of me. I looked around and Lauren wiped my wet cheeks and kissed my forhead " Are you okay?" she askd and i nodded " Thank you " i said to luis and he nodded " Anytime " he said and i sat on my bed thinking about everything that had happen " Well i guess my work is done i will be heading out bye! " Luis said and lauren stepped out into the balcony with him. They spoke for a while then he left and she laid next to me wrapping her arms around me " How long was i gone?" i asked and she kissed my cheek " About 10 minutes, how did it feel?" she asked and i smiled " Like hours, it was amazing... he is okay and happy " i said and she smiled hugging my tight " Im happy to hear that" she said and we layed there all night talking about life and death and everything in between.
