As soon as Rory and Logan walked in their home everyone jumped out yelling Welcome home!
Rory instantly started tearing up at the sight of all her family and friends.
Logan pulled her into a hug and chaste kiss.
Logan: Do you like it Ace? He asked her as she looked around at the decorations and everyone that was there.
Rory: Oh my god how...what......She struggled to get out a full sentence in the emotional state she was in.
Lorelai walked over to her daughter and pulled her into her arms.
Lorelai: Take a deep breath Sweets. Your wonderful husband got all of us together and planned this for you as soon as you woke up. She starting explaining to her daughter while guiding her to the decorated recliner they had just for her.
Rory: Wow! You know I think that man really loves me. She joked with her guest.
Lorelai: You think? She sarcastically replied laughing at her.
Rory sat in the chair and continued to observe her surroundings.
Sookie had once again cooked enough food to feed a army for a week that she had set up on 2 long tables.
She prepared of all Rory's favorites and some kid appropriate foods for the twins bday party.
Sookie made 2 cakes, 3 dozen cupcakes and a ton of other desserts for the occasion.
There was a chocolate ganache welcome home cake and a small red velvet with chocolate frosting anniversary cake for only Logan and Rory.
No one but Sookie and Logan knew about the anniversary cake.
It was one of the many surprises he had in store for his wife for their do over anniversary celebration.
Steph had transformed the kids playroom into a fairy wonderland with Lorelai's help for their party.
Ever since Steph had read the book "Do Fairies Bring the Spring" to the girls, they have been obsessed with all things fairy.
The girls and all the kids loved their fairy birthday party.
The party was everything you come to expect from this very eclectic group.
Both sets of Rory's grandparents had left early. After making sure that their granddaughter was okay and they got a chance to see the twins open their gifts.
The rest of the party wasn't exactly their scene, so they politely made their excuses to leave.
Finn had hired 2 Nannies for them to help with R.J. and the twins for a little while as a birthday gift along with tons of toys.
Rory wasn't happy about the nannies gift at all and she let him know it.
Rory: There is no need for any nannies. I am more than capable of looking after my own kids. I already lost too much time with them already. She yelled at Finn and Logan trying her best to not cry.
