Spray painting and promises

I get up to go and have a shower, get changed and head over to Jordan's to see if he's doing anything.,

As I made my way over Liam stopped me, "Ashley Janet drew, stop were you are" I stopped and turned around to face my brother. "What?" I said rolling my eyes, "don't what me, john called me again saying you got caught and Jordan got you out" he said walking towards me.

"Your point is?" I say getting annoyed, "ha my point is that you got one of my innocent friends to get you out of that hell hold, he had to pay for it as well" Liam raised his voice.

"I'm sick of you getting into trouble Ashley it's ridiculous, do you remember that promise you made to mum?"

*FLASHBACK*

"Ashley dear come to mum", mum said breathing very weakly, "yes mother?" I say holding her hand, "I *cough* I want you to promise me something ashy" she says as her voice cracks, "anything m-mummy anything" I say on the edge of bursting into tears.

"Promise me you won't cause griff to your brother and promise me you won't cause trouble, okay?" She says trying to catch her breath, "I- I promise" I say crying.

"Don't cry Ashley Drew mummy will always be here with you and Liam, I promise" she closes her eyes and the heart beat monitor goes off. I was 16 when she passed away with cancer and Liam was 21.

* END OF FLASHBACK*

I shake my head and try not to cry, "don't you dare bring that up, okay? Liam I'm trying not to get into trouble, I know you don't see it nor does mum, but I'm trying here" I say as my voice cracks Liam gives me a apologetic look.

I storm out and head to Jordan's with my bag of goods, not giving a damn that Liam is calling my name.

I knock at Jordan's door and wait, he swings it open and smiles at me I flash one back, "hey Ashley" he said gesturing me to come in, "hi jordy" I say winking yet causing him to blush.

I put my bag down on the table, Jordan looks at me confused, "what's in the bag?" He said slowly.

I smirked, "this bag contains spray paint" I say getting out a green spray paint can shaking it, Jordan widen his eyes and comes over to me, "whoa, whoa we are not spraying my condo with colours, listen I know it's plain white and stuff, but I'm working in it".

Jordan tries to grab the can out of my hand, "wha-, no I'm not going to freaking paint you condo, geeze dude calm down" I say pushing Jordan.

"Were going out, let's go" I say grabbing my bag of cans, "what why?" He said all confused, I have to admit it's kinda cute, "stop asking questions and let's go" we head out of the apartment and make our way to my ex boyfriends old house.

"Uhh Ashley where are we exactly?" He said looking around, "my ex boyfriends place, don't worry he doesn't live here anymore, I just want to decorate his house" I say getting out a black paint can shaking it.

"Come on don't just stand there get a can and start spraying" I say chucking at Jordan, "but Ashley are we even suppose to be doing this?" I shrugged at his question, "just do it come on it's fun".

Jordan grabs a can and sprays a little dot in the outside of the house on the wall, "there did it, can we go now?" He says begging, I shake my head.

"Nah man, come on Jordan spray something, anything it could be a dick I don't know" Jordan laughs at my comment and grabs a couple of colours.

When were done, I go over to the other side of the house and see what Jordan did, "wow, uhhh who is that", I say pointing at the green cube.

Jordan smiles at me, "his name is jerry and next it to is the fallen kingdom characters" he said grinning, clearly pleased with his work, "what did you do?" I grabbed Jordan's hand and went around to the other side.

"Wow" he said, "who's that?" Said pointing to the woman, "that's my mum" he nodded his head thoughtfully, "promises are made to be kept?' He said.

I looked down, "yeah I made a promise, it's clearly not working out clearly" Jordan wrapped his arm around my shoulder, let's go shall we" he whispered making me shiver, which was odd.

"Okay" I said smiling we get the cans and made our way to his condo.
