Roommate Issues

The awkward silence between Wendy and Rosé made everyone nervous, they weren't acting their usual selves, obviously. The two sisters had a very serious expression on their faces, furious enough to take out each others' eyeballs.

Junhoe gulped, "G-guys-"

"Shut up!" They both yelled, simultaneously.

He backed up, stumbling on his way out of their room, repeatedly chanting "I'm sorry" out of pure horror.

Irene stepped forward, "Hey, you two, it's not that big of a deal-"

Wendy glared towards Irene, making her gulp. It was funny how the tables turned, Irene was horrified of girls in their early twenties while she was the eldest member. Taking her guard down once in a while wouldn't hurt, will it?

The boys stayed quiet after Junhoe's failure to consult them, and started leaving the room one by one until there were only girls present. Joy looked around and giggled to herself.

"What the actual heck, you guys!" Seulgi yelled, wanting to close the stupid "Roommate" case and head to her normal, non-glaring-at-each-other-until-you-pee-your-pants life.

Rosé scoffed, rubbing at her temples as she tried to ease her growing annoyance, "Can you believe her?" She emphasized, pointing at Wendy.

Wendy gasped, "Young lady, I raised you!" She defended.

"Oh shut up, just because you made me a sandwich once doesn't mean I'm practically your slave."

Wendy mimicked her little sister, catching everyone off guard. Everyone stifled their laughter to avoid any sort of attention by the burning flames.

Yeri and Seulgi decided to leave it to the wisest person, Jennie.

Jennie blinked, sighed and stood straight up from her seat, clearing her throat. The impact was enough to ctach their attention towards their leader.

"W-what?" Rosé stuttered, seeing Jennie's glare show her all shades of fire.

"What even is the issue here?"

Wendy inhaled, "I don't wanna be roommates with a crybaby like her and she doesn't wanna be roommates with a dominant person like me, apparently."

Everyone stood in their places, completely dumbstruck.

"Oh God," Irene muttered, facepalming herself. "I- I'm done!" She walked out, resolutely, as if she'll start a revolution or something.

Yeri and Joy started laughing, rather tremendously. To the extent where they had to clutch their stomachs to physically feel the pain from laughing hysterically. Meanwhile, Seulgi had her mouth wide open with disbelief. She started clapping, sarcasm plastered on her expressions.

"Lucky for you, that's exactly what we all are gonna work on for the next few years," she cringed.

Wendy grabbed a pillow and threw it on Seulgi, which she caught. Seulgi pulled her tongue out towards Wendy and returned the pillow like a boomerang.

Jennie chuckled, "Okay you both, who wants to be roommates with me?"

It didn't take a second for Rosé to run towards Jennie.

Jennie stumbled back as Rosé threw her hands around her, "Alright kiddo, you're with me. We need an extra room anyways. Wendy, you?"

Wendy's pale skin was decorated with a pink tint on her cheeks, like a nice little cherry on top. Everyone cooed, making her hide hersekf behind her hands, "Oh stop it."

Joy walked towards Wendy and whistled, "Who is it?"

Wendy calmed herself down before playing it cool, like she just didn't show them all shades of pink in a matter of seconds. "No one, I'm fine with anyone, really, believe me-"

"You're gonna be with Mino," Jennie calmly said.

She watched Wendy melt into a pool of her own tears of happiness, she squealed in disbelief and was surprised as if she wasn't expecting him at all.

Everyone stood there, eyes wide open as they gaped at Jennie. "What the f-" Joy started.

"Guys, she likes him." Jennie smiled.

Wendy's eyes sparkled as she gazed at Jennie, blowing endless kisses towards her direction as a thank you. She was pure grateful for their considerate leader. Jennie just shook her head at her childish behaviour.

"What the actual fuck Jennie Ruby Jane, weren't we anti men?!" Yeri exclaimed.

"I put all my trust and faith in my boys, they're nothing like what you see outside," she spoke with pride as she mentioned her teammates.

The wordly affairs had turned humans into most possibly the worst things, with lust and greed, there wasn't a single chance that a girl could survive without the hungry gazes. Same could go the other way round, girls would go by the motto to not judge anyone by their looks but wouldn't take a second breaking anyone's heart.

All because of their looks.

Yeri's eyes softened as she recalled all the times the boys would go out of their way to help them. No matter how small the task was, they'd be present to serve them.

"Yeah, I'm way thankful for them." Seulgi smiled.

Joy threw her arm around Wendy, "Welp, looks like you're getting what you want. All hail Jennifer!" She joked.

Rosé scoffed, "Don't haunt him, I'd like to see him alive for many years."

Everyone's laughter filled the air, it was rare to see them all together these days due to the crime rate increasing. The heartless monster wouldn't stop haunting the poor souls, no force could stop him.

It made Jennie utterly in pain, fully aware that she couldn't do anything about it right now but maybe, perhaps maybe in the future, her power would come to use.

Maybe.
