The Woman Who Scared the Hybrid

ch. 11

Tears fill my eyes as I feel his heart break. Driving...Driving...Driving away from my mate the whole in my chest growing with every minute. I look in the review mirror I look to sleeping Andy. More tears treatening to fall. I can't take it anymore. Pulling out my phone I call the one person who I knew would race to me in a second. 

"Lijah.." I cut myself off before sobbing.

"Where are you?" Is all he says. Pulling over I look at the sign. I made it somehow.

"Mystic Falls." I reply.

"I'll be there soon." He replies.

"Don't tell him." I whisper.

"If that is what you wish."

"It is." Hanging up I head toward the Salvatore house. Wiping my tears I pull in to the drive.

Stefen walks over to the car upon seeing me arrive. I reply by turning the car off, hopping out and walking to the back to grab Andy. Picking her up I smile down at her beautiful little face. She smiles back. I sigh before making my way to Stefen. 

"What's wrong?" Is all he asks as I wait for him to invite us in. Even though I had been invited before Andy hadden't and I honestly didn't know if she was part vamp yet what we do know is she is part wolf- half wolf to be exact. I just make my way to the living room. Elena comes from somewhere up stairs. 

"Cleo?" She questions. 

"Hi." I say looking at Stefen. He sighs, before looking to Elena.

"Would you mind taking her?" I ask her.

"Of course." She replies taking Andy before retreating up the stairs. I just grab Stefen's hand and pull him out of the building. 

A few minutes later we stop in the woods a ways from the house no one could hear us at this distance. I break down crying. During the time I had been holding Andy I somehow managed to stop crying. He catches me as my knees buckle. Quietly he asks again "What Happened?"

"Well do you want the full story or the abridged version?" I sob.

"Your choice." he says sitting me on a large log, before taking a seat next to me. 

"Well...," I start before explaining my last few days to him. Eventually I finish my crying.

"Wow." He replies running a hand through his hair.

"Yep." I say quietly.

"Do you need to stay here?"

"No Elijah is probably going to make me stay at the stupid manor." I say annoyed.

"You can stay here." He say quietly. 

I nod before laying my head on his shoulder. We sit in silence until a tall angry vamp stops infront of us.

She hisses at us. "Um.." I say quietly waiting for Stefen to say something, my head still on his shoulder.

"Caroline, this is Cleo. Cleo this is Caroline." He says.

I growl angrily before speeding her to a nearby tree, hand wrapped around her neck. "You slept with my Mate." I growl in her face eyes turning gold.

"Who?" was all see managed to squeek out. I shove her harder to the trunk a branch stabbing through her abdomen. 

"Klaus." Is all Stefen says behind me. Not even trying to stop me he knows he couldn't even if he tried.

"Oh." Is all she says.
