"why do you look like that?" namjoon chuckles. "you look as if you've seen a ghost."

"i ran into jungkook at the cafe earlier. i know his connection to jimin and minhyuk and he's gonna tell them i'm here. they can't come to me, i promised i would come to them." yoongi sighed, sitting in his chair.

"it's been six years, yoongi. you need to see them. if they come to you or if you come to them, you have no choice but to see them. one way or another, you're going to meet with your family. it's better to do it soon than later on when minhyuk is all grown up and has this resentment towards you." namjoon gave his advice.

yoongi thought for a while, "should i see them this week? you know, while we're here?"

"fucking text him, you have the number." namjoon tossed the file containing the information.

"i can't believe i'm doing this right now." yoongi sighed.

looking through the file, he finds jimin's current phone number. opening up the message app on his phone, he inputs the number. letting out a breath, he began typing his message to jimin.

hi jimin. it's me, yoongi. i'm in town and i want to meet up with you and minhyuk. i just have a lot of explaining to do. i still have that promise to you.

jimin didn't answer immediately. he was with hoseok and a group. minhyuk was sleeping in another room where the secretary watched over him. yoongi texted just in time. they were having a five-minute break. going to his phone, jimin checked for notifications. seeing the text message from yoongi, his eyes widened.

"he- he wants to meet up..." jimin whispered to himself.

hi yoongi. it's been a while, hasn't it? we'll meet up with you. set the time and day. any time after 2 is fine, minhyuk will be out of class by then. i'm glad you're back.

when yoongi received the message from jimin, he felt like crying. he didn't think jimin would agree to this very quickly. he thought he'd be angry over the fact he even texted him. yoongi texted back, stating that he wants to meet up tomorrow at three. he picked a family friendly restaurant for them to meet up at. he thanked jimin for giving him a chance to explain.

"so?" namjoon asked.

"i'm seeing my family tomorrow."
