my best guy friend ever nicholas is really good at playing the drums and i was gonna try to learn bass guitar so i could play with him but it didn't work out. i have hella small hands and i'm relatively small so bass really didn't work. (my dad can play acoustic bass, electric bass, regular acoustic, and regular electric and he owns one of each of these guitars so they and the amps are easy to access)

BUT THEN I HAD AN IDEA THAT I DONT KNOW WHY I DIDNT HAVE SOONER

i thought about just learning electric guitar and that was a good idea cause we both like arctic monkeys and they really emphasize percussion in their older music (nicholas likes them heavy drum songs) and they got cool ass guitar bits so we wanna play arctic monkeys together!!

i've been really good friends with nicholas for literally 8 years so my parents and his are good friends. nicholas' dad "thinks girls who can play guitar are really badass" according to nicholas so that's cool

anyway i went to the library and got a book that really helped my dad learn guitar quick (guitar for dummies) and it's great 10/10

i learned A major, E major, and D major all in one day how great
