To say that Kirishima was unhappy was an understatement. He and his friends (aw well as Izuku) had gone to the dining room. Bakugo had asked Inko to make some bread and she had done so quite quickly. It seemed that she was used to Bakugo's constant need to have people serve him. Now they were waiting as Bakugo ate the bread with an unusual smile on his face. Kirishima had known Bakugo for three years. He considered them to be good friends. However, he felt that they couldn't really be friends if Bakugo kept him from marrying Izuku like he wanted. Kirisima was aware that wanting to marry Izuku didn't mean that he could just make it so. However, he was still a bit lust driven from the events of last night. He wanted to have that amazing experience again and again. He was at his breaking point when Bakugo finished his bread. Bakugo turned to Izuku, "Alright Deku. Time to explain what happened." Izuku just turned away with a pout on his face. Kirishima would still be angry at Bakugo if it had not been for that face. It was just too adorable! Bakugo turned back to everyone else, "Dammit. You never change. That's why your Deku, because you're so damn annoying." Bakugo was getting really angry. Kaminari spoke up, "So Bakugo. Going to explain to us how you know Midoriya?" Kirishima was a bit surprised that Kaminari spoke up. Then again, Kaminari had always been able to talk Bakugo so easily. They were very close, Kirishima even suspected that they were in love with each other, but had never seen any proof. Bakugo just scoffed and started, "Well, the two of us knew each other since we were babies. His mother was my mother's personal chef. She fed her even when she was pregnant herself. The two of them got along really well. They even had us play together, even though we didn't get along very well at first. Eventually, Deku started following me around, so I let him tag along. We had lots of fun. He called me Kacchan since my name was too hard for him to pronounce and I called him Deku to make fun of how he wasn't able to do anything. He couldn't even send a pebble flying across a river. He was useless." Kirishima was amazed at what he heard. It was not the story itself that caught his interest, but rather how Bakugo told it. He was speaking so calmly and peacefully. It was a state that Kirishima had never seen Bakugo in. However, this changed as Bakugo continued, "Then something happened. I don't know what, but Deku changed. When we were five, he stopped following me. I went to his house one day only to have him throw knifes at me. The little bastard told me to stay away. I went back to the castle. I heard that our mothers had a falling out too, so they were leaving. I tried to talk to Deku again, but he just kept yelling at me, telling me that it was my fault, that he hated me. That was the last time I saw him." Now Bakugo's frame of mind was depressed. Obviously Bakugo had regretted Izuku leaving him. They must have been really close. As Bakugo finished his story, everyone turned to Izuku. They waited for his response to the story and for an explanation. Izuku just stood up and bowed his head as he walked away. No one made any move to stop him, everyone knowing that he would not speak to them even if they brought him back.
