Chapter 15: Todoroki

The four boys looked in awe at the room that they had just entered. They had expected it to be grand, but it went beyond their expectations. It was incredible. Golden flames were carved into the walls, there were silver chandeliers dangling diamonds from the wires. They looked around to take in the magnificent sight before them. Izuku was the first one to snap out of his daze. He clapped, "Okay. We need to find any information we can about my father." The other three boys snapped out of their own trances and nodded. With that, they split up to search the room. It was so large that they would probably be there for quite a while. After a few minutes, Kaminari groaned, "Uh, how are we suppose to find anything. If there was anything that could be used against the Todoroki's, they probably would have already destroyed it." Izuku frowned, "Yeah. You're probably right." Kirishima thought for a minute before saying, "Well, they might not have. They probably didn't think that anyone could enter their own room and find it, so it might still be here." Izuku smiled and nodded. He went back to searching around the room. The other two continued as well. Suddenly, the doors to the room opened. The four of them ran to hide. They watched as two figures entered. The first one was a boy around their age with one blue eye and one gray eye and hair of red and white that was separated right down the middle. Next to him was a man with black spiky hair and he wore blue armor. He was taller than the first male and seemed to be the boy's guard. The guard said, "Well, Master Shoto Todoroki. It seems that you were mistaken. There is nobody here. You must be hearing things." Todoroki said, "Be quiet Dabi. I need to listen. They may be hiding." Dabi sighed as Todoroki looked around the room to see if there was anyone there. Izuku, Kirishima, and Kaminari were doing their best to hide, but Bakugo jumped out of his hiding place yelling, "Why the hell would I hide from you, you damn bastard??!!" He grabbed Todoroki and threw him to the floor and grabbed him into a headlock. Dabi was about to intervene when Bakugo pulled Todoroki up, "Watch it. I might have to really hurt this little bastard if you come  too close." To prove his point, Bakugo tightened his grip on Todoroki. This caused Dabi to stop in his tracks and relax. He continued to stare at Bakugo as the others exited their hiding places. Kaminari yelled, "What the hell man? You should've just stayed in the hiding place. Now someone knows that we're here." Kirishima frowned, "Yeah dude. You basically blew the entire mission. Now what do we do." Bakugo growled at the two of them, giving Todoroki the chance to escape his headlock. Once he did. He attacked Bakugo. Bakugo was about to counter when Dabi intervened and the two of them managed to slam Bakugo into the ground. The other three gasped in shock of what had just happened. Dabi pulled out a large pair of cuffs and put the on Bakugo  so as to make sure that he couldn't do anything. Then, the two of them changed their attention to Kirishima, Kaminari, and Izuku. They started to run away from the two other males, but they didn't get far. Todoroki pulled out two swords, one that was bright red and engraved with flames on the hilt and the other being pale white with ice shards being engraved on the handle. He swung the swords at Kaminari and Kirishima, causing them to stop so as to avoid the swords, but this allowed Todoroki to grab the back of their shirts and throw them to Dabi. Dabi once again grabbed cuffs and put them on the royals. Izuku was the only one left. He had to devise a plan to escape and rescue his friends. He saw a sword on his side. He grabbed it and turned to face Todoroki. Todoroki scoffed when Izuku motioned to fight him, "Do you really believe that you can win? I am of the Todoroki family, one of the most powerful families in the entire kingdom, second only to the ruling royal family itself. Do you think that a thief such as yourself can really defeat me?" Izuku glared at him, "I'm not a thief and neither are my friends. We're here to expose what your father did to my father many years ago." Dabi stared at Izuku for a moment, wondering what he was talking about. Todoroki simply glared at him once more before lunging at Izuku. Izuku managed to dodge the first few strikes, but eventually, on managed to hit him. Once it did, Kirishima started acting crazy, attempting to break the cuffs in order to save Izuku. Izuku studied Todoroki's movements and came up with a plan. Once Todoroki struck with one blade and was about to use the other, Izuku struck his own blade upward, causing the second blade to be thrown upwards. Todoroki was shocked, giving Izuku the opening that he needed to cause Todoroki to release the second blade. Once that was accomplished, Izuku moved the blade to Todoroki's throat. Todoroki raised his hands in surrender, though Izuku could tell that he was planning on a way to escape. Suddenly, Dabi cleared his throat. Everyone turned to face him. He said, "Okay. Looks like we need to talk."
