Chapter 20: Royal Wedding

Kirishima and Izuku were finally getting married! They had decided to get married a few months after the truth about Izuku's father had been revealed. Izuku had managed to get accustomed to his new roll as a prince of the kingdom and having to take over the throne once his father retired. In fact, they were having the wedding in the very castle that Izuku now lived in. The preparations for the wedding had taken days, but now they were all ready. Now all that was left was for the two boys to be married. Kirishima was busy getting himself ready for the ceremony. He was putting on his suit while Bakugo sat in the corner of the room. Bakugo said, "You sure are making a fuss over this." Kirishima yelled, "Of course I'm making a big deal over this! It's my wedding!!" Bakugo scoffed. The room went silent for a few minutes. Bakugo then said, "Well, it sure is strange for Deku to get married to you." Kirishima asked, "What do you mean?" Bakugo said, "I mean that the two of you are the exact opposite of each other. He's soft both emotionally and physically. Meanwhile, your literally has the kanji for sharp in it. You were born a royal. He was born a pauper. He likes to read. You can barely read. He likes to spend time at home. You are a work out freak. Total opposites!" Kirishima looked at his friend, "That just makes our love stronger than ever, Bakugo." Bakugo gagged, "Damn, so cheesy. Why not say that you're star crossed lovers as well?" Kirishima laughed, "You know that we aren't that. Now help me get ready." Bakugo scoffed, "Fine. Come here. Let's see what I can do for your awful style."

Izuku was getting ready for his wedding with his mother. Inko was fretting over the wedding itself, "Oh, I wonder if all the guests are here yet. Maybe they don't like the  flowers. Oh, what if there aren't enough tables? I mean, there are suppose to be enough, but what if something happened?" Izuku said, "Mom. Stop it." Inko looked at her son, "But, what about the wedding?" Izuku said, "It's okay. The wedding will be fine. As long as I get to spend this time with the ones that I love, it will all be okay." Inko smiled, "Oh, Izuku. I'm so happy for you. It will be a wonderful wedding. You are right. I shouldn't worry about the appearance of the wedding. I'm just so happy to get Hisashi back after thinking that he was dead and now, you're getting married. It's just a lot to take in and I guess it put me on edge. I'm sorry." Izuku hugged her, "It's fine. I'm happy for everything, too. We've had a lot put onto us so soon. But it'll all be fine. Trust me." Inko kissed her son's forehead, "I know." Suddenly the door opened. Hisashi entered inside. He smiled at his family. Hisashi said, "Izuku, it's time." Izuku smiled, "Thanks. Man, I'm getting kind of nervous now." Hisashi said, "Of course. You haven't changed at all. Just relax. Everything will turn out fine." Izuku smiled, "Thanks dad."

Izuku walked towards the alter with Hisashi by his side. Already there was Kirishima and All Might, who would be presiding over the wedding. The two Midoriyas made it to the altar, where they separated and Hisashi gave Kirishima one last glare. Izuku chuckled as his father stood next to his mother. With that, the ceremony began. All Might gave the speech about how the two people standing in front of everyone were going to be joined and that everyone wished them happiness. Izuku and Kirishima sighed after some time. Izuku thought, This is such a long speech. Can't he speed it up. Kirishima thought, I wonder how many people have fallen asleep. Man, we should've just eloped. It would've been easier. Toshinori then asked, "Boys, you're answer?" The two said, "Huh?" Hisashi whispered, "We're at the 'I do's'." Kirishima said, "Oh, I do." Izuku said, "Yeah. I do as well." All Might chuckled, "It's okay. Well, now it is time to exchange the rings. If you please." Uraraka stepped up and held out the pillow with the rings. Kirishima grabbed the one with the green gemstone and Izuku grabbed the one with the red gemstone. The two placed the rings on the other's finger. All Might said, "I now pronounce you husband and husband." The entire crowd stood up and cheered for the newly married couple as they shared a passionate kiss.
