CHAPTER 16

Katie's POV

After Jason spills his heart out to me about himself, we've been hanging out a lot. As I said he can be a sweet guy to badass when someone tries to hurt and picks on me.

I feel like Jason is beginning to be my friend, a close friend besides my best friend Jasmine, although she's intimidated by Jason, but she didn't know Jason is also a bit intimidated by her because she kinda have this tomboy side that she teases Jason and stuffs... I don't know but he's a bit terrified. Anyway, she still go with me because she said to me that:

"Katie, no matter what happen. I'll forever be your best friend and I won't leave you."

"Promise?" I raised my pinky to Jasmine to pinky promise me. Don't judge me, we've been doing this ever since we become best friend until now. I don't care if this look or sound childish...

"Promise. I love you bff!" Jasmine smiled

"I love you to-" I was cut off as she gave me a bone- crushing hug as I try to give her the same but failed because I'm beginning to suffocate.

"Jas-- Jasmine, to- too t-tight." I tried to say in between my breath as I try to free myself from her hug. She do this all the time but this is really tight. Jasmine felt what she did and quickly pulled away.

Jasmine gasped "Sorry Katie! I love you so much best friend, I promise that." Jasmine sincerely apologized and promised that our friendship will never break. "And Katie, when you have problems and someone tries to bring you down, tell me and I'll beat their a**es." Jasmine confidently said. I felt guilty knowing that for a couple of months, this is always happening to me... I haven't told her and Jason that every time I go to my locker to put and get my things in it, a post - it notes always fell and I have to hide or throw it whenever one of them approach me. I can't tell her that so I just focused on the swear word she said.

I gasped "Jasmine! oh my gosh, language and of course I'll will." I said as I laugh at my best friend's silliness. Hiding the guilty feeling at the same time.

"Oops, sorry." Jasmine said as she felt embarrass for saying words like that, she knew I hated hearing those but still I have to get used to it since there's another one who never missed to say a bad words. You know who.....

Jason...

"It's okay, Jas." I said as I pat her back

Jasmine looked at her watch "Oh Katie, I have to go do something for my projects and review for our exam. I'll see you and Jason at lunch!" Jasmine said as she gave me another hugged and part ways.

"Okay!" I said as I went to my locker to leave all my things in there as I always. Another post it notes fell when I opened my locker, I bent down to pick it up. Tears have swelled in my eyes I never get used to it as I read the notes. There are five notes and what was written on it was:

"You're ugly."

"You're a whore."

"F*ck you, b*tch.!"

"Idiot... Die in a hole."

"Back off, Jason is mine."

All those came from what it is written... 'Meagan' I don't really know who she is but I recognize her on our first day of school when she is with Jason.

"Hey! Katie - cake what's u--" Jason greeted sweetly calling me by the nickname he made,  but cut short when he saw me crying. I was startled and quickly hide the notes behind my back. "Why are you crying babe and what is that you're hiding?" He gently said but in his demanding tone, squinting his eyes and suspicious about the thing that I'm hiding.
