Song for this chapter: Digital Daggers - Where The Lonely Ones Roam (Acoustic Version)

30 year old Ezra Bridger flew his ship The Siren through hyperspace, on a urgent mission to get cargo for the Rebellion.

"So, we almost there? Didn't really feel like going on this mission today." A voice behind him said.

"Yeah, Lakota. Almost done, I promise."

Lakota leaned back and put his arm on his pulled up knee and closed his eyes in thought.

He felt the ship shake as it pulled out of hyperspace.

"Ok, Lakota. You know the plan right? Get the car-"

"Get the cargo, activate the wheels, roll it to the ship then take off unharmed. Not my first rodeo, Ezra."

Lakota had become a bit cold-hearted after Arena's disappearance. I mean, that was the person he loved, and she was just gone.

"Good, glad I don't gotta explain it to you."

The ship landing quietly on the platform as Lakota and Ezra ran out the back to complete their mission.

Avarice reported to her Master's chambers where he stood in front of a window with his back facing towards her.

"You called for me, Master?" Avarice spoke, crossing her arms lightly and leaning to the right of the doorframe.

"Ah, My Apprentice, I did. Arena Tano's friends, before she died, of course, are alive and at our cargo holder in Post A113."

Avarice brought her head up quickly. She didn't even care who they were. If they knew Arena, they were rebels, which means that this day was going to be fun for her.

"So, you want me to kill them? Of course."

"If it's possible. If not, bring them to me for investigation."

Avarice nodded. "Yes, Master. I'll take a ship over there now."

Avarice walked out of the quarters as she waited for the door to close behind her.

When it did, she took a deep breath as she squeezed her eyes and let tears leak out.

Ahsoka stood calmly as she ran over plans at the base.

"Mrs. Tano!" A voice came behind her. She turned and smiled.

"Luke! I thought you weren't going to be back for a few more rotations?"

"Eh, it was a dead end. I'm sorry, Mrs. Tano. We'll find her, I promise."

Ahsoka nodded sympathetically.

"It's alright. At least you tried, that means the world to me, anyway."

Luke smiled as he felt a buzz on his wrist.

"Han's calling. I'll catch up with you later."

Ahsoka nodded as Luke ran off.

"Just like his dad." She whispered to herself.

She walked off and onto her ship.

She stopped as she passed by a room.

Ahsoka laughed lightly as she walked in. The bed in the room was made perfectly. But a single object was in the middle.

A blaster.

Rex's blaster.

Ahsoka grabbed it as she lightly ran her fingers over it.

"Force, I miss you, Rexster."

Rex had died a couple of months after Arena disappeared. It wasn't a terrible art horrendous death. It was just, his time.

Ahsoka sighed as she put it back down.

"You better give me some help on finding our daughter, because I'm getting very tired." She joked.

Lakota and Ezra were loading on the second to last piece of cargo.

"Hey, I'm- I'm really sorry for how I've been acting. It's just hard, you know?" Lakota sympathized.

"No, Man. I get it. I lost Sabine, too. We kinda got something in common, if you'd call it that." Ezra said.

Lakota nodded with a grin.

Chopper beeped in annoyance.

"Alright, Chop. One more piece." Lakota explained.

Lakota and Ezra grabbed the last piece and started heading back.

"You're not leaving with that cargo, are you?" A dark, mechanical voice, almost like Fulcrum's, spoke from behind them.

When they turned around, they saw a cloaked person with a feminine figure.

"Who are you supposed to be?" Lakota asked, questionably.

The figure laughed. "Oh please, you know all too well." The figure ignited their fiery red lightsaber.

Lakota and Ezra immediately grabbed their blue ones but right as they did, they felt a tightening around their throats. They were both lifted a few feet in the air. The figure laughed.

"Now, we can either do this the hard way." Their throats closed even more. "Or, the easy way." As the figure let the drop to the ground.

"Yeah? Well we have a way too." Lakota groaned as he force-pushed the figure to the wall. The cloaked person fell to the ground.

"Ezra, get to the ship! Chopper, get ready to leave!" Lakota yelled as he ran into the ship as the figure stood up.

The ship started to fly away, but was stopped suddenly and the back of the ship opened. Lakota went to the back and looked out. The figure was holding the ship with the Force.

They brought their hand down but their head was still looking straight down and the ship was still.

The figure pulled their head up, knocking off the hood.

All the color drained from Lakota's face as he turned pale and his heart skipped a beat.

Avarice and Lakota locked eyes.

Brown against Yellow.

Avarice's deep, dark red lips curled into a devious smirk as she ran a hand through her black and red streaked hair. She gave a wave as she turned around with disgust on her face.

She finally let the ship go.

Lakota fell to the ground as he was about to pass out. Ezra was shaking him.

"Arena...." Was the last thing he said before darkness engulfed his mind.
