I won't even hurt a fly...

Jayden's pov

As I was running away I noticed J.j's eyes turn green. It was weird because it never happened before. Out of all colors in the world why is green the won that never showed up? Ugh! It's probably nothing. I continued running until I looked behind me and saw that nothing was chasing me. Idiot, I thought. I ran around looking for my sister only to find her getting picked up by a boy with noddle looking hair.

J.j's pov

I ran into Logan! I hit the ground and was lifted up by someone. I felt very weak but I was still strong. I elbowed him in the stomach and kicked someone in the place where the sun don't shine. They both fell to the ground but I was then grabbed by a a pair of strong arms.

"Jordan, calm down. I won't ever hurt you. I won't even hurt a fly." Logan said. I believed him and stopped fighting.

"Jordan!" Jay yelled pushing Logan away.

"He won't hurt us." I said.

"That's exactly what Narmada said, now our parents are dead." He said.

"Your parents are dead?" Logan asked.
That's when Jay dissaperd. He only can astral project for 30 minutes. I nodded at Logan and he pulled me in a hug. "I'm so sorry to hear that. I'd die without my parents."

"W-we almost did." I said and Logan pulled back with a shocked look on his face.

"What do you mean you almost did?" He asked. A man I just met, worrying about me? This is weird.

"It's not a story we have to tell!" Jay yelled grabbing my hand then stopped. "Your eyes are green, what does it mean?"

Logan's pov

I was shocked to hear that Jordan's eyes weren't always green, because the first time I looked into her eyes they were a beautiful green color. Something inside me wanted to hug both kids and something inside me wanted to hold Jordan in my arms and say, your safe now. She's a fragile girl who's been through hell.

"I-I don't know. Maybe um... Got no clue." Jordan said. She looked up at me and I looked in her beautiful green eyes. "But I know that these boys won't hurt us." She stood by my side leaving her brother's grip.

"They could be working for them! " Jayden yelled.

"For who?" I asked confused of why they were scared and of why they ran away.

"The-" Jordan started but Jayden stopped her by covering her mouth. She pushed it away. "The lab people."

"What lab people?" Daniel asked.

"They take kids away from their parents and if the parents take them back the kill the parents. They fill kids blood with chemicals and treat them like they're science experiments. And if they don't-" She was interupted.

"If they don't work they die." Jayden says.

"But why kids?" I asked.

"Because they are weak. They're not fully grown. They're bodies aren't yet immune to certain substances. We were born and given to them. Our parents wanted us back but they were killed." Jordan tells us. And soon her eyes turn blue. She yawns.

"You two need sleep, I'll take you to my place to get some rest." I said. I looked at Jayden and he nodded grabbing his sister protectively as she held on to him. "Boys, lets go."

"I'll take your bags." Jonah says.

"Thanks." Jordan says. When she looks at Daniel she completely freezes as he does to.

J.j's pov

I looked Into the blue eyes of one of the boys. I felt attached and felt a connection with him. Like he'd protect me no matter what happens.
I hop on Jay's back and rest my head in his neck.

"You good sis?" He asked.

"Mhm." And that's when darkness took over me.

Daniel's pov

As we were walking towards Logan's house (he has the mansion) I noticed Jordan fell asleep on Jayden's back. I don't get why I feel so much love for her. She's just so beautiful and sweet.

"I can take her if you want." I told Jayden.

"It's fine, but thanks for the offer." He said.

Logan's pov

I showed Jayden to the guess room and surprisingly he wanted to share a room with her.

"Thanks, for everything." Jayden said.

"I'll always be here for you." I said.
He nodded and I walked out of the room and closed the door.

"Am I doing the right thing?" I asked the boys.

"Yeah, I guess." Jack said.

"Yes, of course you are, Logan. They didn't have a home and you gave them one." Jonah said putting a hand on my shoulder.

"I agree with Jonah, I mean look at how much thay've been through. You're a hero Logan." Daniel said.

"Yes, like the real life super man." Zach said.

"You're gonna be a daddy!" Corbyn said.

"Yeah, you could adopt them and then you don't have to... What did happen back there, with the disappearing and the reappearing?" Evan asked.

"I'll ask them in the morning. Imma get some rest. Boys you knoww where the other rooms are." I said and they nodded. I just hope I'm doing the right thing.
