"Father," Eloise blurted to her father, "I told you that I don't want to meet another one of your companions sons!"

"Eloise Aster Thorn! As I have said many times before and will say many times again, you do not have a choice." Her father sighed in response dropping his head to his hands. "Plus, I think this young man will be the best fit suito-"

"That would be what you said about the last three men you introduced me to!"

"Please Elo," he put his hands on his daughters shoulders, "he is right downstairs. Would you just take the time to talk to him?"

"Fine." She blurted hesitantly and headed for the grand staircase, her isabelline gown swaying as she walked.

As she reached the bottem of the staircase a man in a black suit with a saffron tie approached her.

"Felix Grant Harris at your service." He held out his hand of witch she ever so polity took.

"Eloise Aster Thorn, but I'm sure you already knew that." She smiled as he let out a short laugh.

"Would you treasure a short walk on the path in your estate?"

"Now thats really down to how much I enjoy the time I have with the suitor walking alongside me." She saw as he was soon to swoon over her words.

"May we find out if your time should be spent walking along side this suitor again sometime in the future?"

"May as well." She walked forward and linked her arm in his and they made the way out the door.

Throughout the short stroll through the magnificent garden on her fathers land, Eloise was comparing thier witts based on what he said. It did not take a lengthy amount of time to see she was superior to him in the field. It also didnot take long to realize that Felix was extremely sexist.

Many men at the time were very arrogant when it came to a womans rights, but she could tell that he was worse than many men that she had met before.

As the walk ended and they returned to the parlor in Eloise's large estate, she felt relived that her time with this man was soon to be up.

"Was your time with me cherished?" Felix asked with a polite tone.

"Not as muched as I had wished it would have been." She said sternly, stepping back.

"Now what is that supposed to mean?" He hissed angrily as he threateningly stepped twoards her.

"Goodbye mister Harris." She points to the door.

As Felix left she let out a breath that she had not known she was holding in as she walked upstairs.

She changed into a painters gown and made her way to her studio where she painted in the sad knowing that there was not a man fit for her.
