Martyr

Every breathe I take is one you've lost
It feels like acid on my tongue
You cradle me like a babe in youth
But I am as old as the sun and the moon
You are a as strong as an oak
The wind may blow but your branches aren't hollow
Eyes filled with ferocious fire
Burning bright with your desire
Heed my words they speak the truth
If you lie you may lose
Swinging from the steps of a chasm
A chasm that breeds deceit
Decide which path to take
For the one you choose, will be the one that breaks
Burdened with the chains
Atleast your sane
Yellow brings a hopeful youth
But it will not bring you the truth
Climb the tallest mouthing
Kill the mightiest beast
Bring me glory as you perceive
Though you will not carry along the path, to rest with the gods of man
You do not see the truth
You seek out ruin in all you do
Heed my words they tell a tale
of a man so selfish he couldn't tell
Heed the words they flow from me
If you want peace find peace within
You can only give yourself content
No one and nothing can give you it
Unfortunately our tale ends with sorrow, this man filled with greed
He cannot see tomorrow
Thugh his children may pray for his soul, their laughter cannot withhold
His sins he bares are too deep
He will not let them heal
So he bleeds
Our villians dies to his hands
To a hero you say truly he's a guilty man
Swords clash, rivers fill with blood
Are tale ends with a dead son
Still he won't falter, he will not bow
to not forgive his own sins
He won't face the crowd
Hero you will die a martyr
And kingdoms will tell your tale
Though peace is not your ending
No happily ever after for you tale
A fable of a man
All they see, but people learn from
Your deeds
Heed my warning I speak the truth
Dying a martyr isn't for you
Believe in me when I speak
The tales of the future a weaving under your feet
Heed me
