Lee Jaerin

I closed the door and looked out the clear window on it, to see my mother still waving at me, as if she was trying to make me wave back. The only thing is, I didn't want to. So I just coldly walked away from the door and the window beside it, heading back to my room. It was 8:52 pm and I didn't have dinner yet.

I walked to the kitchen, rummaging through cupboards, drawers, the pantry, and last but definitely not the least, raiding the fridge. I usually don't eat a lot, but when it's late at night, I feel super hungry. "Let's see, what are our options?" I asked, looking at the variety of food I had set on the table to choose from, "there's pizza, ramen, sushi, salad that's eight days old, nope. Fruit, eggs, eggs on toast, bacon and eggs, that's breakfast, idiot. That's it, there's absolutely nothing good to eat. I'm not feeling pizza or ramen today, or sushi. No healthy options. Salad that's eight days old, no way. Hmm counting out all those options, looks like eggs on toast it is."

I grabbed some bread, slotting them into the toaster after turning on the switch. I cracked two eggs into a bowl and turned the stove on medium heat. "Scrambled, omelette, half done, or fried?" I furrowed my brows. "I'm not feeling fried eggs or omelette though. Half done scrambled then."

I poured the eggs from the bowl into the pan and quickly scrambled the eggs with my chopsticks and when it was about half done, I turned off the stove and transferred the eggs from the pan to my plate. Ding! That's the toast! I took the toast out with my chopsticks so I don't burn myself, and it worked. I put them on a different plate and put the eggs on the toast.

"Yum. I'm full, thank god i only made two eggs and two slices of toast. Now I have to wash these, ugh," I muttered under my breath for the last part, before thinking of a great idea. "Yah, Lee Daehwi! Can you help me wash these? I'll cook for you tomorrow if you do! Since you already had your dinner today?"

"Deal!" He shouted, dashing down the stairs with his phone in his hands.

"Gomawo!" I said to the boy, before ruffling his hair and rushing to my room.

"Yah! Wake up, it's a Saturday!" Daehwi shouted, running to my bed and squeezing my cheeks.

"Dude, i'm older than you. Don't squish my cheeks. Glad to see you're awake earlier than i am for once," I said, ruffling his hair.

"You're only older by like a month, and your birthday is in December! Why was I born a month after you? Because of that, i became born in a different year!"

"Yeah yeah, just go and make breakfast."

"But I don't know how to. You're the one who usually makes it!"

"Then get some cereal."

"But I feel like eating tteokbokki today!"

"Then go get the instant one with the instant sauce!"

He groaned cutely. "Fine~"

I yawned, still looking at the same book I had been reading since this morning. Twenty-seven more pages to go! I thought happily. I haven't had much time to read my books now, so a stack of eight books can now last me a month and no longer two weeks.

I heard footsteps getting louder, and they stopped. The turn of the doorknob was heard and I saw a smiling Daehwi who was panting a little from running all the way from the kitchen to my room.

"Noona! You said you would cook if i washed your dishes last night and i did so now you have to cook for me!" He shouted cutely, walking near my swivel chair and placing his hands on my shoulders.

I got up and headed to the kitchen. I made bimbimbap and enjoyed it deliciously while chatting with Daehwi.

"Hey, bitch. Wake up!" I heard a voice say to me.

Upon hearing the word 'bitch' I opened one eye slowly. My eyes weren't big so it went unnoticed that I was opening my left eye. I saw Yuna.

"Yo bitch. Wake up! You're sleeping in school property."

"Leave me alone," I said while she scoffed.

"You're practically breaking a rule miss Vice President," she scoffed.

"And you're playing with my friend," I stated.

"Right, about that. Give me your phone number."

"Why should i?"

"Just give it."

"xxxxxxxx."

"Thanks."

~•~

"Start the plan. I got her new number."

"Miss Yuna, you're a good one. I'm glad you joined us."

"Whatever, Hyejin. Just start the operation. Send me the fake chat app and i'll hook him with the bait. He'll definitely believe me."

"If you say so, Yuna. Good luck!"

"I don't need luck. I can pull this off, and i'm sure of it."

"Well then, i take that part back. I'm hanging up now."

"Sure, i gotta go too."

Beep...

"Oh, our little Jaerin. Have fun with what's in store for you and your friends. There might be death. Don't worry, the danger will only start after you become a trainee or an idol."

A/N:

I couldn't think of a good way to start the drama, so I'm starting it here. I hope this book reaches at least 40 chapters before I complete it cuz' if not, it'll be really short.

Thank you for 220+ reads!!! 감사합니다!!!
