Dates, Not The Fruit Kind

2 weeks, 5 Restaurants, 7 dates, 3 of which were girls. That's what has happened over the past two weeks, each that I met wasn't as bad as I thought they would be but I didn't see myself getting together with any of them. Currently, it's a Saturday and it's is around 12 o'clock and I am sitting at a table in Chick-fil-a waiting for the person I'm supposed to meet. Her screen name was something like 'CassyCat' and she's a year older than me but that's all I can remember from her profile.

"Can I get you anything?" The waiter guy with the badge name 'Christen' asked

"Just a glass of water, for now, I'm just waiting for someone," I say

"Alright then," he said and walked off only to come back a minute later with my water.

"Thanks," I say and take a sip, I play some games on my phone while I wait and soon I am tapped on the shoulder

"Um, excuse me?" A feminine voice asked, I looked up from my phone and met beautiful brown eyes. The girl was tall and looked quite fit, she had orange hair which ended at her shoulders and was held back with an Alice band and she was wearing some jeans and an orange crop top, with a thin long sleeve top over it.

"Are you 'JackieWolf'?" She asked,

"Yes, You Cassy?" I asked, she nodded and sat across from me.

"Well, I'm Jacqueline Micheline but you can just call me Jackie," I said

"I'm Cassandra O'Brien, just call me Cassy," she said, the waiter came back and we both ordered some chicken nuggets and a chocolate milkshake.

"So tell me about yourself?" I asked and took a sip of water trying not to sound bored of this

"Well, I'm 18 and I'm taking a gap year to you know just hang out with friends, maybe travel a bit and decide... what I actually want to do with life, you know?" She said, "And what about you?"

"Well, I'm in my last year of high school and run a youtube channel," I said and her face lit up

"Oh really? What do you do?" She asked

"I do gaming, Minecraft to be exact," I said, half expecting her to just get up and leave like the one girl did but instead she said,

"Oh, that so cool!"

"You really think so?" I asked

"Yeah, totally! At one point in my life, I also wanted to make some kind of YouTuber but never actually got around to it." She explained. Just then our food arrived and we ate and talked all through lunch. Sometime during it all, I mentioned my car and she wanted to see it so after lunch I paid for another bucket of nuggets and showed her my car and then opened the tailgate and we sat on it together eating the bucket of nuggets.

"So what's this about on your description about two best guy friends who will beat me if I hurt you?" Cassy asked

"How do you remember that stuff?" I ask

"I have a photographic memory" she replied and tapped her head "So tell me about these friends of yours."

"Well my friends, Max and James, have been my friends since middle school. James is the same age and goes to the same school as me and Max is a year older. They both are also Minecraft YouTubers who I do a lot of videos with and I know that they've been friends WAY longer than I have been." I explain,

"Well I'd love to meet these friends of yours someday," she said, "Hey, I have to go just now but we can exchange numbers so we can stay in contact if you want?"

"Yeah, sure!" I said and we swapped phones and typed in each other's numbers.

"Well, it was nice meeting you!" She said as we both hopped off the tailgate and I closed it "We should plan another one sometime"
