The Perfect Date?

As I walked to my last class I sighed, History with Mr Jackson, who is actually quite peppy usually. I walked into the classroom where most of the class was already here and sat in my seat on the far right next to the window, which was open thankfully. The cool breeze blew slightly and I sighed, It was like 100 degrees just now or was it just me?

James then walked in, smiled at me and sat at his desk in front of me and Mr Jackson followed. Mr Jackson is around 6,4 with short dark brown hair and super dark green eyes, He stood in front of his desk and leaned against it.

"Alright, afternoon class. Before we start I would like to inform you that the prom date has been moved to the 27th of April, today is the ... 2nd. Now I know that prom seems quite far away but it may come quicker than you'll expect. Also while we are on this topic I should tell you that the theme is 'An undersea adventure' some maybe you all could try to theme your outfits around that." He explained then walked around his desk, "And just a quick tip, the sooner you get a date the better"

James and I walked with the crowd of students desperate to leave as we made our way to the front door, Max was busy this morning so James asked me to bring him to school since his car is at the garage getting a new exhaust. We hopped in my car and threw our bags onto the back seats, as I started the car James turned on the radio and blasted the music as the song 'Radioactive' came on. I turned down the volume because I don't want my eardrums to burst and pulled out the parking lot, I rolled down my window and let the cool breeze blow against me.

"Quick question," James said, "when are you and Cassy going on another date?"

I looked at the date on my watch before answering, "Today actually, she's coming over to my house and from there I'm taking her out."

"Where are you going?" He asked

"I'm not telling" I replied with a smirk,

"Aw, why not?"

"Because you can't keep a secret and I want it to be a surprise!"

"I can keep a secret!" He said now getting frustrated

"Oh yeah? Remember about two years ago we were going to throw a surprise party for Max and on the night we asked you to distract him while we did the final touches and when he asked where we were you said 'oh their just busy setting up your surprise party that I'm supposed to distract you from until I get the signal to led you inside'" I explained and he looked quite embarrassed now,

"Okay, I can't keep a secret." He admitted, "is Minefair in LA this weekend or next?"

"Um it's on the 14th and 15th of April, so that's next week," I said, "I think we should leave on Friday morning to get there and leave on Monday afternoon to get back home"

"Okay, I'll tell Max that," James said and texted Max. I drove him home and then to my house, Dexter was jumping up and down. I greeted him and filled up his water bowl then headed upstairs and dumped my bag on my bed, As I did my phone buzzed. It was Cassy,

Cassy: Hey! First I just want to know what I should wear and secondly I need to know where your house is if we're going to meet up there?

I messed her back saying to just be casual and comfortable and that she should preferably wear closed shoes, and I sent her my address. The time was only 2 and I barely had any homework so I decided to record a video AFTER I had food. As I was making a ham and cheese sandwich I thought of my intro, sometimes I like to do something funny for the intro. I went back up to my office and set up the world with the mod I was going to do, I then hit record on both the face cam and the screen then walked out and closed the door.
