The next morning I woke up and found myself holding Cassy close to me. Her breath was calm and she looks so peaceful in sleep, I smiled. I lifted my head slightly soo could see the time, it was almost 7.
"Morning," a sweet voice said, I lay my head back down.
"Morning beautiful, how did you sleep?" I asked as she stretched,
"Better than I have in weeks," she said, "what time is it?"
"Seven," I said and she propped herself up on one arm.
"Do we have to get up?"
"Sadly yes," I said and stretched, "the whole event starts at 9 but we need to be there like half an hour early and it's about half an hour there so we need to leave at like 8"
She nodded and we both got up and dressed. I put on some jeans and a white colored version of my merch and some Nike shoes. When I went downstairs an amazing smell engulfed me and I instantly recognized it. Walking into the kitchen I saw Sam making breakfast,
"Morning," I said and grabbed the kettle, "something smells nice, what's for breakfast?"
"Pancakes" he replied simply, I put the kettle on to boil. Max then walked in and opened the fridge,
"Morning, when we gonna leave?" He asked and poured himself a glass of juice.
"Around 8," I said. After breakfast we all left, making a quick stop at Starbucks along the way. We got to the hall area where the event was being held earlier than we planned and we walked around looking at who else was here and trying to find our booths.
The main event area was huge, there were two sets of double doors at the entrance. At the far end was a large stage and in front of that were hundreds of chairs, on either side were the booths for the YouTube, each was labeled with who's it was, to sign stuff and sell their merch. As we walked back to the cars and to the booths with our merch I caught some of the names: Unspeakablegaming, Bajiancanadian, 09Sharkboy, JeromeASF, and Logdotzip.
Long before 9 o'clock, there were people waiting for the event, a few minutes after they started to file in and sit on the chairs. Me and all the other YouTubers stood behind the stage waiting to be called on. The announcer called us on one by one, I pretty sure every Youtuber had their phone or some type of camera recording while on stage. The crowd was cheering away, then the announcer said "Let's have a little contest, Shall we? Unspeakable, go down that side of the stage and Jackie, go down the other side. Right, We're gonna put ten seconds on the clock to see who can craft who can collect the most diamond swords. If you have a diamond sword put it up, okay 3...2...1... Go!"
I ran off to a fan and got one sword, then another and another.
"And that's time! Let's see here... Unspeakable has seven but Jackie has 3! Give these guys a big round of applause!" the crowd did just that as I gave back the swords.
After a Q&A we went to our booth and got ready, there was a huge queue of fans waiting in line for the signing. Once it started the hours seemed to role by. I sighed t-shirts and hoodies, some of which was my own merch, and hats, swords and pickaxes and pieces of paper which I'm guessing they would put up on their wall. We also sold a bunch of merch. Soon it was lunchtime and, like us, many of the fans went to another part of the complex to get food. One of the workers came and got us and led us to the back room with some other Youtubers who I recognized, both of which we vlogging.
"It is absolutely awesome meeting you guys but there is so many of you and I don't think we'll even be able to meet all of you," Unspeakable said to the camera, there is like, what, fifteen thousand?"
