"how was your sleep last night?" i was woken up by sana's voice, she removed my earphones.

"hm...?" i slowly opened my eyes as i nodded.

i brought up my head and saw jihyo's bed empty. i was curious why she wasn't there.

"where's jihyo?"

"leaders' meeting. pretty early, right?"

i put my head back down and closed my eyes again.

"ah, don't go to sleep again!" she said as i felt her weight on my body.

"ah! stop it!"

"no! momo's in the kitchen, and she making us breakfast."

momo was never good at cooking. we have turns in cooking, by age. everytime it's her turn, we get burnt food.

"it's her turn to cook, let her do what she wants to do."

"are you seriuosly gonna eat burnt waffles? 'cause that's what she's making right now."

"breakfast everyone!" momo yelled out.

i honestly didn't care what i was gonna eat. i've been going on a diet for three whole months, i'm stopping right now and eating those waffles!

i walked out along with sana as we saw six of the girls already in table.

"good morning, sana and nayeon unnie!" she said with a big smile plastered on her face.

we both sat down and took the remaining waffles. no one has eaten from their plate yet. they're probably scared because of the taste.

"um... first taste goes to the eldest!" jeongyeon said and pointed to me.

i know i said i was gonna eat whatever but, i'm having second thoughts.

"don't flip it." momo said as i followed.

i cut the waffle, trying to convince myself to put it in my mouth.

everyone's eyes were on me.

i ate the piece and hummed in satisfaction.

"yummy, but it's a bit too sweet."

"i put the syrup inside."

everyone was quiet.

"exactly, how much cups?"

"uh... not that much about... six or five." i spit out the waffle.

"that's too sweet, momo! we only put half a cup, plus, no one puts syrup inside waffles!" i said and wiped my mouth with a napkin.

"okay, i lost my appetite." mina said, walking away from the table.

everyone did as well.

"aw, come on, guys! at least it's not burnt!" she said and everyone scattered around the dorm.

the door suddenly opened, and revealed jihyo.
