"Now what?" I asked. The hallways were filled with students and soldiers, it was a mess.

"Let's go over there," Danny said already walking to a table with a bunch of guns on top of it.

"Woah those are a lot of guns,  but what's the point in having different kinds?" I asked the soldier that was behind the table. He was tall and had auburn hair with hazel eyes and looked a few years older than us."Oh and what's your name? Are you like a normal soldier or a sergeant? What's the difference? When did you join the army? Is it as hard as they show it in movies? Do you think by the look of us, we could do good soldiers? Do-"

"Woah there give me a chance to answer," the soldier said. I laughed and Danny rolled his eyes used to my rambling. "First of all my name is Elliot, and the point of different guns is because everyone has their special gun that they are best at and feel more comfortable with. Also some guns have different purposes like a sniper is better when your shooting from heights or long distances-"
   "But-"

" Let me finish. I'm a sergeant, recently promoted actually and I joined the army when I graduated high school. Let me sum up the difference between a sergeant and a soldier. A soldier follows a sergeant and a sergeant leads the soldier," Ervin said.  "Anymore questions? "

     "When-"

"You've asked enough questions," Danny said and I childishly stuck my tongue out at him and I just ignored him and faced Elliot.

"So Elly, are guns going to be the only weapons we use?"

"Since you said we I'm guessing you guys are going to join?" We both nodded. "I see. To answer your question no, guns are not the only weapons we will use. Either way you still will have to learn to use a gun, but will end up using the weapon your the best with."

"....okay, are we done now?" Danny said facing us.

"Yeah let's go see the other tables," I said and smiled at Elliot.  "Thanks Elly!."

He smiled back,"No problem and I look forward at seeing you two at training. I never got your names though..."

  I point at myself, "Lia."

Danny does the same and Elly gives us a weird look, "Well you two have interested me so you will see more of me again..."

I beam at Danny, "You just love doing that, don't you?"

I nod and he grins.

After that we went to all the other tables and asked a lot of questions. ...especially me. When we finished we went to go sit down.

"Don't we need to sign a application or something because we don't even know when we're going to training or how we're going to get there," I said turning to Danny.

"You have to go get the applications in that table I think," Danny said.

So it turns out it was that table and it said we were to meet up in a stop and we would go to training in a bus. This was suppose to happen this Monday.
"This Monday!" a girl next to us yells. "That's next week!",

"Yup, faster than you thought right?" I turn to her and offer her a smile.

"It's just so crazy, this actually happening!"

Danny and I smile at her freaking out, and Danny speaks up, "Hey, calm down take one moment at a time."

The girl breathes and seems to have calmed down a bit, " Sorry, its just all my friends are staying so its like I'm going to fighting this alone and-"

"Hey, don't worry we'll take you in as our own," I grin at the girl.

"No really, its okay-"

"What's done is done!"

The girl laughs, "Alright, alright. If you insist, well if we're going to be friends I think I should at least know your names, don't you think?"

I laugh and look at Danny knowingly.

I point at myself, "Lia."

Danny points at himself, "Daniel."

The girl points to herself, "Jennifer."

"Welcome to the club Jenny!"

We all laugh and continue talking while we walk to the exit.

"Oope there's my ride! See you Jenny and Danny, hey would you look at that it rhymes!" They laugh and I get on the car with my mom.

"Linda, you won't believe what happened in school today!"
