Meredith's Other Little Sister (Greys Anatomy) AU SLOW UPDATES

chapter two

Emma's pov:

I finish with working on my extra credit homework, for class. I hear two unfamiliar voices outside my room, next thing I know, a man, woman, and child are in my room. I look up confused, as to why they're in my room. "Derek, can you give us a minute?" The woman asks 'Derek', "Sure, we'll be right outside." As they walk out, she give me a nervous smile, and says, "My name is Meredith Grey, my father is Thatcher Grey, I'm your sister. Earlier today, a woman came to my work, telling me, that you're my sister. She told me why you're here, and I promise you, that if I had known about you before, I would have been here to help. So, now I'm here to help in any way you need."

I look at her, completely baffled, "you're my sister? I have a sister?" I'm freaking out. An hour ago, I thought I had no family that wanted me, and now, I have a sister! As I'm thinking about this, I feel my anxiety start rising, and the next thing I know, Meredith is calling for help, and nurses are rushing in, they calm down a bit once they see I'm not dying, but still rush to help me calm down. Once that is over with, my therapist walks in, and tells me, "Emma, it's time for your weigh in. Would you like Meredith to come with us?" I become very nervous at the mention of weigh in, but I reply anyway with,"Sure, just let me get ready first." With that said everyone leaves and I begin getting ready. I sneak into my bathroom and grab 2 rolls of coins, I grab my big Yale sweater and begin my process. I grab my water bottle and chug the entire thing as fast as I possibly can. Then I grab the first roll of coins and tuck it into the top corner of my shirt, then I repeat on the other side. Finally I put on my sweater and walk out of my room.
