Meredith's pov:
I don't understand how a girl her age can be so underweight and obviously sad. She should l be worried about school and boys (or girls), not what she'll be forced to eat today and she can get out of eating for one more day. Emma walks out of the room after she makes her sarcastic comment, most likely to go back to her room. I look to her therapist and say, "How can we help, I want to get to know my sister but she needs to be alive for me to do that." She looks at me and tells me, "I know that, it's why we called you here. We believe that, if she has people around her that truly want her, she'll be a bit more willing to except treatment. You see, I've talked to her about these things during our sessions, and she said that, her whole life she's been unwanted, and she thought that maybe if she was skinny, maybe they'd want her. So showing her that you love her, and want her the way she is, will hopefully help with treatment." Okay, well, I guess it's bonding time with my sister, hopefully this goes well.
